What surprised me with Piastri is how wide open the inside line was. Did no one at McLaren think it would be a good idea to tell him Max overtook 4-5 driver with this exact move in the last 6 laps? Is this pitwall asleep or what, no one is watching? Anyway, easy pass for Max, not gonna complain.

D0 wheel knowledge. Most drivers cannot defend in the rain because they were too busy trying to keep their car on the track. Even Fernando and Lewis cannot keep it together in the rain, watch their on boards. Lando went off, others crash. How can they defend when they can't even keep it together themselves?

These days Max and Lewis fans miss each other. 2021 was a proper war, McLaren just race like HR is in the room. If only Perez turned up this year. I hope in 2025 Piastri activates his inner fighting Kangaroo.

None have the steel balls Max has. Senna & Schumacher's balls are much harder than Lewis's for sure. Senna end up where he did & Schumacher end up in hospital. Lewis probably live longer than Max. Steel balls like talent & skills can't delay death when it comes even 1/10th of a sec.

Max Verstappen is the only reason why Formula 1 is still worth watching. HIm brought the excitement back for me back in the day as well. It was almost unwatchable during Mercedes rocketship engine era.

max is capable of being both a really fast wet weather driver, and of being a dirty and dangerous defender. winning a race doesn’t suddenly erase his prior behaviour.
