Tomorrow you'll see how this story starts by showing they are better than G2 because Caps, BB, Yike and Hans will get Bugsplat every 13 seconds but it got added to the list of bugs that are acceptable and won't cause a remake.

Round 1 vs Fnatic was a massacre in game 1 and game 2 was close because Oscar was running it down on Yone. Hylissang inted the series vs Vitality. Humanoid (and Oscar) completely choked games 3 and 5 on friday. And they almost got reverse swept by a team without their main carry that had no practice with their sub. MDK is certainly better than what we all expected at the start of the season. But they are not a 2nd place team in a normal split of LEC

The higher you finish, the more prestige and advertisers flock to you. Benching your starting top laner isn't just done out of spite, they're doing so knowing that they likely will make less money now because the team will perform worse. They've already accepted a financial loss the moment they announced he was benched. BDS wouldn't have benched him unless they had no other choice. Adam could be Faker in terms of skill, but the fact that they chose to bench him even though people generally agree he's a good player means his individual skill is no longer enough to make up for his weaknesses, and the team's has put their money where their mouth is by benching him before the semi's. The fact that they don't even trust him to play this series and would rather hurt their own chances of winning by promoting an academy player says a lot about how much they currently value Adam. On top of this, any useful working relationship between the org and Adam is over. Adam will never forgive the org for benching him right before an important match and humiliating him in front of the world. The org will never forgive their starter player for being such a dickwad that they had to pull him off the team, potentially costing them a finals run, while still being on the hook for his salary.

I think they signed Upset and Bo for a year so they propably intended to promote him next season but if he gets old enough this year and they continue to suck (which is likely due to them keeping the players that are the obvious issue and promoting the coach that didn't get Targamas to speak after working with him for an entire year) they will likely do what they did with Yamato which is 'blame the good performing non French players/staff to appease fans and promote another part of the ERL team. The only hope is that Bo doesn't resign so he can get on a good team next year. I wanna see him in G2 so badly 😄
