Your weekly recaps are amazing. Super informative and also hilarious at the same time. Love how you pick out all the embarrasing, controversial and funny moments. This is really one thing that sets Pro Pickleball apart from some other sports. Lots of gossip and quirky characters. Thanks for doing what you do! And BTW, IMHO, in pro pickleball is the rule really to give the benefit of doubt to your opponents? I always do in rec play but at the pro level I think players should be calling what they think it was - in or out - regardless of how close it was. There's more than just bragging rights on the line. Regardless, hopefully controversial line calls are soon a thing of the past when new tech is introduced.

I’m so bummed you weren’t able to do the most recent MLP recap, but you are a good friend to attend their wedding. I’m confused on some MLP rules that you probably know the answer to. If a team chooses to serve, do they serve every game, or just serve the first and then the other team serves the next game? For the dreambreaker; the team that chooses to act, do they reveal their lineup at once or person by person? If person by person, do they act for each person or do teams take turns acting and reacting? You are a great pickleball guru!

Interesting - I think it’s clean cause it wasn’t from her swing Has nothing to do with ball bouncing or point ending - if she swung so hard the paddle flew a mile into the sky and took 30 seconds to land - it would still be a fault when it hits cause it was from the swing This was just her dropping it after winning IMO

Crazy the teams weren’t told that area is not suitable to stay in. Anyone from or living in the DC area knows you don’t cross the Anacostia River. Even Metro wise, you don’t take it that far east. My whole club knew Uber was the only good way to get to the venue. The players should of stayed in Navy Yard, still easy drive to the event but in the main city by the soccer and baseball stadiums.

Being there live the vibe of Carolina was glaring worse than every other teams. Their sideline was mostly dead silent and the players not on the court seemed to not care at all, except for Koop. She was the only one clapping, watching her teammates and offering paddle bumps. It was honestly sad, girl was trying her best but the others did not want to be there.

@@ScottT109 because they didn’t draft well. They’re going to lose a lot and they know it. First of all there’s already some weird vibes with Ben and Collin because they’ve been losing a lot recently. And then in the draft, they spent the entire budget on Ben. Collin is good to partner with Ben but isn’t great for mixed doubles or for singles. Jesse Irvine is fine, but Koop isn’t it. And she doesn’t have the mindset or the personality to thrive with the pressure of Ben and Collin’s expectations and disapproving air about them. The team is build to go 2-2 and lose in the dream breaker. Ben can’t be happy.

As a dark horse, I like st Louis. Hayden and Gabe are still kids and getting better and better. I would like to mention a disconnect : I have played thousands of games in the THE VILLAGES,FL and Ohio…. Every one is very friendly everywhere that I have played… BUT… almost no one knows anything about the MLP, the PPA much less the APP. They don’t know there are 12 teams in the Premier MLP, they don’t know Rally Scoring, and they don’t know almost any of the top pros! Why is there such a disconnect and what is being done about it?

Hard to watch if you’re playing Especially now - you can’t just rewind a KZbin stream But that’s why I’m doing this show - so we can bridge that gap Just gotta keep subtly talking about it and then come November - get them to watch the championship match for MLP - that will hook them and they’ll watch the next year more consistently

I always love your recaps, I wish they wouldn't have down the win on your serve, it made really every point matter. Jessie Irvine is soo disappointing, hopefully Carolina can find a better player. Utah Black Diamonds on paper was a really good team, but they were a trainwreck. Upset they traded Allyce Jones she was doing pretty good, but Glozman is also great. I did wanna ask your thoughts on something, I saw a hot take on Instagram about Augie Ge being Ben Johns next full time partner. Ben likes the lefty righty, he plays a very control oriented game but is good at counters and punishes. Do you think Augie Ge could be the player to replace Collin full time?

Surprised you didn't cover Collin choking away the match against the Hustlers. Ben got the dreambreaker score to 20-16 and in Collin's rotation against Lea he proceeded to go 0-4 which included a couple of unforced errors. Carolina definitely should've won that match. @xPeaWhyTee Edit: Actually I just realized that you only would've seen the choke if you watched the match live. The match replay on YT is pretty poor quality and multiple points were skipped including these ones.
