Gotta say I’m enjoying this aos coverage way more than 40K . It seems so clean right at launch compared to tenth at launch and it’s still abit of a mess

Thank you for the stream. I have my first game of 4th edition AoS tomorrow where my sylvaneth will play against SoB with his first game of AoS ever. This was uniquely helpful to me.

We are starting our escalation league tonight at our FLGS, so I'm glad to get to listen to this! Helps me cement the rules/stages in for my opponents. I would definitely watch the pre-recorded stuff, for sure! I enjoyed the stream, but the way you say you want your streams to be (filled with banter and friends), having you teach loses the opportunity for the banter. Not bashing the stream at all! Just giving you some more feedback. (Also excited to try out my Purple Dice from you guys tonight. :) )

Minor note but you 1st pick prayer, then roll. Matters when multiple prayers available with different chant values(like brodd's army of renown). No "oh i got 4, let's do chant 4, got 5, do the 5 one"

Loving the AOS content, I think a learning series would be amazing and will use it to convince everyone I know to play AOS 😊

Great stream. I got my first game of AoS coming up next week, I have read the rules but getting this run through was great👌, and entertaining👍.

Great show. Mentioned it in the comments during the stream but helped me nail a lot of the rules I kept forgetting when I played over the weekend.

The subtle jabs at vanguard tactics lol. I respect their desire to make the hobby better but I agree when the rules are free. A constructed, edited and accessible (free) course would be helpful to get newbies into alright.

Enjoyed the stream. I do think it might be better to do pre-recorded version of this type of thing, if doing a teaching thing is the name of the game. All just to make it a bit neater on the presentation side.

Please Check the rule on Attacken and defender. The winner of the role decides wo defender or attacker is therfore decides who deploys first
@LiamDempsey40k2 ай бұрын
I’ve just re read it. We were absolutely right with what we did. Please check the rule yourself.

@@LiamDempsey40kI am not a native speaker so I could be misunderstanding the rule but first sentence in the matched Play Pack (App) under "3. Set Up the Battlefield" says the winner of the role chooses who is the attacker and defender is. Defender sets up the board, attacker chooses a side and determines who sets up first. Since you were playing with the battleplans from the GHB and battle tactics, I am assuming you are using the matched Play Rules (attacker Defender rule should be on the card for the mission as well). Also, I believe setting Up your faction terrain is a separate step in the phase and has no Impact on the amount of drops.

You know what, you’re actually absolutely right. We were using the set up steps from the core rule book and not from the generals handbook. My apologies, I have been humbled.
@shimuni92132 ай бұрын
@@LiamDempsey40k it's quite stupid to put the core rule in the GHB and not the matched play version since that's what you are playing with the GHB :D
