Well, someone earned their promotion to a knight at the end! ha ha ha ha

The last survivors basically stood in one, tight clump and it allowed all the splash damage they still had to slaughter what was still left. You also had the Knights clearing out the wings of many of the Ghouls, which put less stress on the last stand.
