Hello, i saw you that you have the Audi A4 B6 cluster. I have the Audi A4 B7 cluster, they are the same, it's just that the arrows in the cluster are not. I just bought my Arduino computer and the cables that i need, and i have not a single idea on how to connect my Audi A4 B7 cluster. I can't help with connecting to SimHub but I just wanted to let you know that the B6 and B7 clusters are not the same. The B6 uses RB4 (Immobilizer Gen. 3) clusters while the B7 uses RB8 (Immobilizer Gen. 4) clusters. They are visually identical but the insides are very different. RB4 is relatively easy to work with but the RB8 has much stronger encryption.

@@allyouaskforRB4 and RB8 i think it means if the centre display is colored or not, I have a B6 with RB8 sticker on them and I am pretty sure it’s Immo3 because it’s a 1.8t from 2001 and if you immo off the ecu you can literally use B7 clusters, I tried it on my own car since the original clusters have a faulty fuel gauge and i used 2.0TDI gauges from the B7, the only visual difference from them as far as I know are the red line on the needles the B6 has a longer ones

@@allyouaskforOne issue I heard from other people using B6 clusters on B7 or vice versa sometimes you need to reprogram the ABS pump again, but i had no issues with it and I now have a RB4 cluster from a 1.6 B6 since having diesel rev line is kind of weird as the issue from the original clusters is from the main board and not the fuel gauge which is separate and switched it from the clusters to see if it was faulty and yes the main board is different as it sucks to not have a colored display because I tried to swap it but as far as I seen the board from the colored ones are pretty much identical from the B6 with the B7

@@Andrei-eb2du I own a 2004 B6 and also a 2005 B6 and with the 2005 I can adapt and use an RB8 or RB4 but with the 2004 I can not manage to adapt the RB8 to the vehicle no matter what I try. The display doesn't determine whether its RB4 or RB8 as you can get an RB4 with the red display or as full-colour. The RB8 also comes in both options. I have multiple RB4 and multiple RB8 clusters and I have virginized all of them and cloned the eeprom and key data between them but for some reason the RB8 will not adapt to the 2004.

​@@allyouaskfor I work on a junkyard and all the ones I've seen yet with colored display were RB8 and the red ones were RB4 and assumed that, I know it's almost if not impossible to use RB8 on an RB4 if you don't disable the immobilizer from the ECU to use, maybe that's why the previous owner did that to get RB8 working, since it's really hard to find an early B6 with colored display, most I've seen are from 2004. The only disadvantage is you have the immo light flickering while driving, but he fixed it with duct tape

I do have Code for it but I am not giving it out. Wiring is fairly simply done. 24V Power supply for Power (3 Wires) and then 2 wires for CAN Bus
