Thank you Professor this was very interesting and helpful. I was curious, which response areas from AI were lacking? Was the factual data generated accurate? Also, I just wanted to comment further on the "ethical" complexities of using tools like this in proposal writing. I think it depends on the field. In my experience (human services), it is common practice to "recycle" many sections of the body of the grant application. Typically, the "boiler plate" is the same for each proposal and then it is just tailored to meet the requirements of each RFP. I can see how intellectual property may come into play, however. Especially in the event that proposals are written by free-lance grant writers. But in my experience, grants were written by employees and successful proposals were never attributed to just one person/writer.

Thank you for sharing. In my opinion I don't see any harm using these artificial intelligence for the purpose of writing things like project proposals or business plans. Because, machines on their own they can not perfect writings. As a source of knowledge, you'll need to craft sentences and put things in place. However using it in the education and research and other areas, must be carefully considered. When should students use and when not to....What is the limit. Of course were already using similar staffs and that's where we're heading. Probably the traditional education system will soon take a different swing.

It’s interesting that you call Chat GPT a “him.” It is a thing with no gender.
