Satan is deceptive. Eve believed Satan over God and Adam wasn't loyal/faithful/ dedicated/strong enough to follow God's instructions when he saw Eve didn't die. Having ingested the forbidden fruit, their minds and the minds of their progeny were capable of evil temptations that, without God's righteous character, they were incapable of harnessing. God told Israel, and us by extension, not to look to customs and practices of other nations. Adam and Eve didn't listen (they listened to Satan), and neither did Israel. Chuck Missler's dissertation on Halloween is a complete and convincing missive against absorbing practices God wouldn't condone. True Christians look and work toward God's future Kingdom 🙏 There won't be a Halloween thing in God's Kingdom.

The truth is, to say Halloween’s connections to ancient Samhain are, at best, extremely tenuous, would be grossly overstating the facts. What is factually known about Samhain, stripped of all the legend, lore, myth and religious paranoia, would fit on about a page of paper - just one side. Halloween is to some people a very spiritual time of the year; for some it’s a time of fun and candy, perhaps a way to celebrate Fall in general. Still for others, perhaps a time to contemplate their own mortality, since the modern holiday mocks death. With the beginning of the dark half of the year, It is also a time to play on a few of the basic/core fears of humankind - fear of what lurks in the dark, and fear of death. Some perhaps are not quite sure what to make of it and prefer to steer clear of it; but however you wish to celebrate it….or not - Halloween is only ‘evil’ for those who choose to make it so.

To try and reconcile participation is an abomination to the Lord. This is what the world has come to. False prophets and false teachers. Repent. For the kingdom of God is at hand. Ironic how only Catholics try and justify celebrating with demons.
