3 years ago, at 22 years old i almost took my own life. I was abused as a kid, broken, depressed, anorexic, bulimic, suicidal. I went in & out of psych units like it was a game of tic-tac-toe. Suicide watch. I was on enough Antidepressants to kill a horse. I hated myself. I wanted out. I wanted the pain to stop. The gaslighting* to end. *(when a psycho makes a sane person question their own sanity, and thus think they themselves are the insane one). I wanted power. I got into witchcraft. I thought it would give me the identity i wanted, to be set apart from people who hurt me. It only made me sicker. Sicker. Thats what it did to me. The doctor said id never get well. That i would suffer severe Chronic Manic depression, and never be well, that id be stuck on antidepressants all of my life. I would plot suicide on a daily basis, binging and purging my food as often as opening and closing a door. The pain was too real. People choked me. Assaulted me. Told me i was ugly, i felt worthless. Nothing ever got better. Then my mother died. The (1) & only soul who ever loved /emotionally supported me was removed from the earth. I was stuck living with people who broke me, ruined my identity, thus causing me to hate God. I thought God hated me, that he was just like the ones who tortured me, a family of abusers, who cover up all their actions with the mask of religion. I didnt know that God is on my side. I didnt know that Jesus would Love and Defend me, and fight for me and that He later would heal me, rescue me from Family. The ones who caused me pain. The ones who choked me for wearing a necklace. I moved out after family threatened to throw all my belongings on the front yard, and have me permanently institutionalized in an insane asylum, when they were the ones who caused my mental illness via abuse. They blamed me for the abuse they did to me. To take my life in an insane asylum when they were the ones who made me suicidal. Next morning i spoke with my dead moms parents who let me live with them. I stayed on the antidepressants, prescribed. But they only made me sicker. I got deeper and deeper into witchcraft, thinking it was a solution. But it made me even more suicidal. Self hatred was inescapable. I decided i was going to kill myself. I was going to take all my pills. But then Jesus stepped in. I didnt die. I surrendered my life to Jesus to make me well and heal me. The deity i blamed for me being abused wanted to heal me. He Was fighting for me and Loved me all along. He wanted to love me. He wanted to give me His Heart. HE LOVES ME. JESUS. LOVES. ME . Jesus miraculously healed me - i am off all drugs and dont need them and i dont have any mental illnesses. I am totally healed , full of joy. I’m now a born again Christian, who wants the entire world to know that JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU HE. LOVES. YOU. Nuff said.

@@anarchy1090 it was energizing. I was just at home praising and thanking the Lord when I felt the atmosphere shift. I didn’t know what was about to happen but I knew something was about to pop off. I began praying and then manifesting. I was not afraid, as a matter of fact there was a boldness about me that commanded the unclean spirits out in the name of Jesus and they would manifest and leave. I remember thinking Wow what authority I have in the name of Jesus. The Holy Ghost was the leader and I followed His instructions meaning He would tell me what to call out. He told me to call out things I wasn’t aware were issues for me. It was like we were a team and I knew in the process He was also teaching me about deliverance. Between the manifesting and driving the demons out I praised God in song and interceded for others and listened to what The HOLY SPIRIT had to say. I was determined that no matter how long it took I was going to be free. The Holy Ghost gave me a nugget …HE said “there will always be those who hide”. Mannn he is good to us. I know now that Christians can be demonized or under the influence of demons and that deliverance is a real thing and that we must allow the Spirit of the Living God to lead us through the process. For Christians struggling with the concept of demonic oppression, I’ve found that Katie Souza’s explanation on WHY we have demonic assaults as Christians, I.e. idolatry in the soul which creates a legal right for the enemy to afflict us, Neil Anderson’s book Victory over the Darkness, and Robert Morris’ series on Believers in Bondage finally helped me intellectually accept the concept of demonization for believers. Through their teachings I was finally able to confront many of the oppressive thoughts I experienced and could never explain. I also learned you can actually get free of this stuff. There’s no greater enemy than the one that works in darkness through our own unbelief/ignorance.

@@1god2savem34 when I was struggling with substance addiction as a teenager, I cried out to God and I did feel something come off of me, and I was instantaneously delivered from all my addictions. Years later, when I backslid and dabbled in astrology and new age practices, i repented when I came back to the Lord but that’s when I had to walk through the process of deliverance in the way I described above. I agree with Elizabeth Askander that the process is like peeling an onion. Why God’s strategy for deliverance varies, I can’t say.

I am so happy that we are seeing a generation of young leaders understanding and declaring the good news of the gospel. The demonic is real and we can't cast out our flesh and discipline a demon, it's the other way around. Folks need deliverance and we can have it through the power of Jesus. I have many many experiences of people being possessed by the devil or a demon. My father was a missionary and my family was a hispanic gospel musical group. We were invited to so many churches. My parents were always available to pray and cast demons out. I've seen the devil say things to my Dad through the possessed person saying that he will destroy my family. It's crazy to see it in real life. It's a real spiritual fight. And yes you could be Christian or saved and still have demons. I have so much to say..

He says there are no verses in the Bible that say a Christian can not have a demon, but there are no verses in the Bible that say a born again believer in Jesus Christ HAS a demon that needs to be cast out. So there aren't any verses in the Bible either way because the teaching of the Bible is that when you become born again you are transferred into the Kingdom of God and are saved, in other words you ARE Delivered. Deliverance IS Salvation!

the late Pastor Derek Prince taught on this topic quite extensively. Many CHRISTIANS, including himself, have been delivered from demon harassment and oppression. It's not a Salvation issue with Believers - thank God! But it is a matter of hindrance, loss of joy, a spirit of heaviness, unfruitfulness, ect. Hey fam, when I got saved I didn’t experience and miracles ever lol 😂 but let me tell you this, I told God I just wanted to be empowered for his work. If what happens in scripture is still happening now I won’t deny it or say no. I just yearned to live the FULL Christian life. This is after coming out of kinda cessationist churches. I had 0 miraculous encounters but I remained hungry and willing to be used by God. Suddenly I get launched into more supernatural things in my Christian walk years later. I didn’t even demand it I just desired to live Gods word out and be open. Yet I had friends who got crazy saved with dreams and visions- made me feel small. But those aren’t the things that make a great believer or allowed me to be used by God in the way I am now! Stay hungry, stay open, remain discerning, pursue Jesus and desire for the gifts for the edification of the body- watch God use your life even if he just wants to refine you in the simplicity of life for a while. Sometimes our lives will look like the book of Ruth before they look like Acts. Just become a person of integrity that God can trust with more.

Why resist something if it doesn’t have any power over us. So according to Saldivar anything you resist means that that which you have to resist has power of you. WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE? We resist temptation, does that which we resist mean that temptation has power over us…STRANGE!!!
