Allen Parr is right. If we could speak things into existence then we would have as much power as God has and that just ain't happening, especially with us sinful humans.
@258269Ай бұрын
I agree Allan Parr is absolutely correct. We can pray and make a request and God will grant us the desires of our heart but even with that scripture all has to come into alignment with The Plans God Has for an individual. psalm 130:16 tells us that ALL OF OUR DAYS Have Already Been Written before we ever came into existence. Whatever God has already written in His book you can have. Yet, in order to access that life which is hidden in Christ Jesus, you have to have a relationship in order for God to reveal what has been written and hidden for you in Christ Jesus!!! Sure you can manifest stuff through the power of satan not through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives as He Wills and The Holy Spirit only reveals what has been spoken to Him by our Father! Study to show thy self approved. Satan Eve said to Jesus Christ, bow down and worship me and I will give you the Kingdoms that was delivered to me!

@ShaeNikRomans 4.17 is about God speaking things into existence...not us
@annamartin348926 күн бұрын
@ShaeNik Your doctrine is not sound! Nobody can take you to hell. You send yourself there when you reject Christ as Lord and Savior. We are “joint heirs with Christ” spiritually but we don’t have any power over Him and never will in heaven either. Ephesians 2:6 says we are “sitting in heavenly places” which means spiritually because we are not there yet. Since you have the power to speak things into existence then go to St. Jude’s hospital and heal those sick children or better yet just speak it into existence then you won’t have to go!
@curlblossom940425 күн бұрын
@ShaeNikI agree with you. It has to be according to His Will. We can't just be out here trying to conjure and manifest up things...that's new age. But according to His Will we can ask Him. I have seen my mother say a thing in His name and it come to pass and she gave Him all the glory. She is not a greedy woman and could care less about riches, but when God tells her something is for her it happens. And this is not something that she speaks all the time, maybe twice in her life but I know it's possible according to His Will not our will. We will not get everything we want but if He says something is for you believe Him.

Manifest culture is idolatry, vain pride & worldly foolishness wrapped into one because it robs God of the glory he rightfully deserves by putting the focus on ourselves and not him. So, I stopped the audio at 1:27 so I could tackle "death and life are in the power of the tongue' (Proverbs 18:21). That is a scripture often taken out of context and designed by the New Thought and New Age movement that we have 'creative power' in our words. That is the Law of Attraction and Manifestion teachings of these false teachings. The main objective behind this- course is Satan- desired to be like God along now with his objective to make us gods. King Solomon wrote this as a King who would counsel civil and civic matters. Based upon the grievances- some judgments could be a capital offense therefore death or the individuals could be liberated- life-based upon their testimony or defense in that court of law.
@DerrickSmith-n8s27 күн бұрын
I truly believe Proverbs 18:20-21 are related to ACTUALLY eating FOOD,what's your opinion.I do know that the ONLY person able to speak LIFE or DEATH over a person's life is a JUDGE,who SENTENCES a person to death.The Word of FAITH preachers started this false teaching in the 1990s-2000s. I'm so mad when people try to go to Romans 4:17,and the mountain scriptures,because they COMPLETELY takes these scriptures out of CONTEXT,but go back and examine Proverbs 18:20-21,just wants your opinion.

It doesn't take a genius to understand that what comes out of your mouth brings either love and peace or hate and misery. This is what that scripture means. It doesn't mean we "manifest" our wants and ideas in this world.
@faithimpact127 күн бұрын
@theleastofthese5369 Proverbs 18:21 doesn't mean that "They", themselves Manifest Anything. The revelation of this scripture points to the Source of, "where" the person is in their faith to BELIEVE. Humanity doesn't understand that Words do have the Power of creativity which, when spoken through Sound, Activates the spiritual realm. The spiritual realm and physical realm are totally in two different worlds! Jesus explains this in John 8:23-28, John 18:36 Jesus was saying that his kingdom was spiritual and invisible, not earthly and physical. Read, John 6:63 as well. Human beings were created in God's image, that does not mean physical but, in "spirit, pneuma ". So, words are not physically but, spiritual, and the Unseen realm of the spiritual Responds accordingly. You will have what you have confident trust in which is, faith! Even, Jesus said, " Only Believe". The question is, where are you, in your Believing, Faith or, Fear? That's what God asked Adam in Genesis 3:9 So, manifestation is not the issue. The issue is, the Source of your words, and what do you believe!

Job 22:28 “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: And the light shall shine upon thy ways.” so what is this about ? I can agree that not all things can be spoken into existence. But what of the things spoken of thats IN the will of God. Such as salvation for all, such as safety for the your kids, such as that an addict would be changed and repent and turn to Christ, so these things (although within the will of God according to his word) cannot be decreed?
@Thelifter365Ай бұрын
Thank you for saying this, because if you listen to all of these comments, you would think that you have to now lack faith and disagree on what the word is clearly saying, You can’t even be saved without having faith. Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, and is the evidence of things not seen, So are we going to say God’s word is not to believe upon? Peter walked on the water, going out to meet Jesus, he started to doubt , Jesus saves him from drowning and asked him…Why did he doubt did he not believe and have faith so I don’t understand exactly these things that people want to go against what God is clearly saying.❤🙏🏽 I will Study on this one, even deeper, because what I never did was went with the crowd

I've prayed for and believed God for protecting my children. I used to believe in that new age teaching but Holy Spirit opened my eyes. In 2015 my 23 year old son who was a worship leader and devout follower of Christ was killed in a tragic accident 💔 left in a ditch and we found him the next morning before law enforcement. Calling life back into his body didn't work and yes I questioned God but not in doubting him rather for understanding. He was just trying to get home from work and he has a twin brother. God is ALWAYS in control and if I was made in God's image from That perspective, I would have stopped it from happening
@mrbrown6152Ай бұрын
@ im so very sorry to hear about your son. My sincere condolences. My question I do have though is do you believe that it was in the will of God for this loss to happen or not. Unless the purpose of that individual has been fulfilled. I do not believe it’s in the will of God for an individual who is a believer in Christ to lose their lives. Especially at such a young age. Yes, the Bible guys tell us that the good are often taken away at a young age as protection by God. But we also see like in the case of what happened with Cain and Abel that one who does please God could be taken away out of the will of God. This is why I ask do you believe that it’s in the will of God that this happened or not. And please forgive me for my asking I don’t mean to be rude.

It’s only been a year now, but I tell you, my faith is never wavered with the Lord and His word concerning it.. I have no doubt that Jesus told us, ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and The door will be open unto you… so with that being said His word is perfect and it is true. We have been given permission to believe that God can, and will do a thing even if He does not, we know that He is able…as the three Hebrew boys, believed when they were going through the fire, that if God does not deliver us from these flames We know that he is able… So, according to God, and His will, even as we ask for things, believing Him for it, is His power to do it or not according to his purpose for our individual lives.. But surely, according to Hebrews 11:1 Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen… That is his word, and so we ask and we wait for Him to bring it to pass

Another misunderstood scripture: Matthew 18:18, aka, binding & loosing. This scripture is about church authority dealing with sin & discipline. Binding and Loosing: The terms “bind” and “loose” were common in Jewish legal language, referring to the authority to make decisions about what is permitted or forbidden. Authority and Responsibility: Jesus is granting the church the authority to make binding decisions regarding discipline and forgiveness. Church Discipline: This passage underscores the responsibility of church leaders to address sin within the community, aiming for repentance and restoration.

Cliches have always annoyed me. There’s always a scripture being overused into a cliche, and the current preference is this manifest mess. If we spend more time in the entire Word, it would serve us better. Previously we overdid and blew out of context Jer. 29:11, then came angels everywhere doing everything, then the line ‘God is good all the time and all the time God is good.’ Now saved and unsaved are going around manifesting! WHAT?!?! Why don’t we go around making Leviticus 10:3, and 1Peter 1:16 into clichés? What about Hebrews 12:14 and Romans 12:1, 2. Our heavenly father has made promises to us that he will keep, but he’s not as interested in us getting a new car or a spouse as He is in us studying the word of God, living by what it says, and most importantly, sharing the gospel with others. That’s why we’re saved and still here.

Job 22:28 says you shall decree a thing and it shall be so.... Life and death are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat the fruit thereof. In Genesis 4:14 Cain said whoever finds me will slay me, those words we solid, that is why God marked Cain, to keep those words from coming to past. He had to protect Cain from his words because those words could've created tgat reality for Cain if God didn't respond with protection... In James we are told that our mouths basically charts the course of our lives. Jesus tells us that we are to speak to the mountain and it will be moved and cast into the sea.... Now, that which we speak we must speak in faith and in order for what we speak to come to past in God's power (for that is the power that we, the believer operate in), we must speak in accordance with God's word and His will.... Unbelievers can manifest things under Satan's power by these same biblical principles. Jesus performed many great miracles, so many by way of His word, and He said that we would perform them as well... I personally refuse to allow natural eyes and understanding to limit God's ability through the words He blesses me to speak on accordance with His instructions in His word... There is great power in our words. Does that make us God?? Not at all. But to whom much is given, much is required and we are instructed to bridle our tongues and speak life, moreover, we're warned that we will give an account to God for every idle word spoken. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. I am who God says I am, and I will do exactly what He has called me to do, by His power. 🙏🏽❤

Sometimes people interpret scripture incorrectly, the Bible warns us that no scripture should be interpreted privately ie someone's personal view. With that in mind it's actually God who enables us to speak life into dead bones, or speak that water is released from a rock etc. Only via Gods command are we allowed to access that manifestation of His power under those rare circumstances.

So...and I'm really hoping to understand this fully.. I DO NOT have the ability to speak something from nothing (that which I always knew so I was never confused there). However, if I were to speak that my body is healed based on what Jehovah God has already proclaimed by the blood of Jesus, is that scriptural? If I speak that I prosper in every area of my life and I place my hope (faith and work) towards that principle, even as my soul prospers, is that biblically accurate? Again, asking a legitimate question. Not attempting to prompt debate. In the end, we leave this world how we entered in it.

Corey why do we pray if we do not have the power and the gift of manifestation?
@aprilstone3128 күн бұрын
If the Word of God in Romans 4:16-17 reads that we can speak things that are not as though they are then believe it. The passage refers to Abraham and foretold promises of God. However faith without works is dead James 2:26. We have to believe God can and will and continue to speak those things. Though it is necessary to put action behind it. So yes, through the power of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in us we can manifest things through faith but also through our actions. If you’re believing God for something then keep believing, keep speaking and do the work - IF it be the will of God.

This is a never ending debate if you study the word, blessed, cursed in the Thomas nelson dictionary, it would tell you that words are powerful, and do affect our reality.

Blessing is different from conjuring manifestations through our own words. May God give us wisdom in this.

Blessings and grace and peace!....We have to be careful not to presume the place of God....Proverbs 18:21 is taken out of context to mean we are able to speak good or bad...life or death into existence in what we say. "Life and death are in the power of the tongue" The word "tongue" in this context is a metonymy....Its like saying "The State of Texas is issuing a statement..." We know that this usually means the governor of Texas, who represents the state is issuing a statement...that the literal state of Texas...can't do this. Its the same with the tongue....the tongue itself has no power....its the words... Many take this to mean that things can be pronounced or spoken....and what is spoken or pronounced will happen....this not true at all... Job 22:28 and Proverbs 18:21 are taken out of context....only God can declare a thing and it will be (Psalms 33:9 and Romans 4:17). Proverbs is a Wisdom Book and is filled with idiomatic expressions. Such as "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). This verse also does not mean what people think it means....and is very similar to Proverbs 18:21. So what Proverbs 18:21 is saying is that your speech can defile you, acquit you or condemn you (Matthew 12:37), tear down, or build up others. Physically, a judge can speak words which can alter the life a person who is on trial...a doctor could speak words that give advice on how to improve a person's health. Words by themselves can not bring things into existence or objectively cause calamities. This type of teaching is found in false doctrines such as the "Word of Faith" movement....where they tell you can speak things into existence.

The only thing I “manifested in my 45 years of living is my only brand new car when I was 27 and every car since then has not been my ideal vehicle. I’ve also played the lottery numerous times and can’t even “manifest” $2 to get my money back.

Not to demean the other fellow but Allen approaches the Word systematically. If you come for him, you will have to come based on what the Word actually says and not what you think.

You are absolutely correct..only thing is we dont see allowance of New Testament believers to speak like some of the Old Testament prophets. Some things for us to learn from and not do.😊

If it is true, then there will be no collection of tithing or any form of giving at Church because the Pastors will speak it and it will be in existence. Contentment will be eliminated in our lives and we will be independent of God.

And maybe a mountain was not moved by spoken word but what about when Joshua told the Literal Sun to stand still and God honored it? If we are to say NO THING can be spoken into existance and its just about the words we speak to others, then what about stories like this??

@@TribeofLevi0404 Along as it is God's will he can use us to get things done. Just as he used Moses to free Israel from Egypt. Even when Jesus taught us to pray we are to ask if it is God's will not ours because God sees the whole picture we don't. So if we speak things to happen it should be God speaking threw us. Otherwise, we are just wasting our breath. When Elijah spoke it was God's will for it to happen not Elijah's. Take care

@@muppetonmeds I know all that, it has to be Gods will I agree but I have to speak it . I have to stand on Gods word and remind him of it and speak it back to him. I can speak Gods word to a situation and the situation has to obey because I’m speaking the word. When I speak the word or when I challenge a situation I come in the name of Jesus to that situation it is not by my authority. I’m not going to just sit and not do nothing because God actually wants to work in partnership with us. You talked about how he used Moses right, God being the Almighty Sovereign God why didn’t he just pluck the children of Israel out of Egypt and chuck them in Canaan?. In the story of Elijah the bible clearly says Elijah was a mere man, he prayed earnestly that it doesn’t rain and it didn’t.
@muppetonmeds29 күн бұрын
@@TribeofLevi0404 The Bible talks about doing God a service without it being his will. There was a woman trying to be nice and she brought a homeless woman home to help her from her situation. She left her alone with her children and when she came home she found her children dead. This is what happens when we take charge without it being God's will. If it was God's will she might have brought a different woman home who she led to Christ. This is why we don't run around and do whatever we want it should always be God's will be done. Take care.
