I wonder what's the cost shipping in water to Inis Oirr. Maybe some Philanthropy based group or person could assist them in building a small Reverse Osmosis Plant, it only need to be used for drinking/eating and sanitary needs, the saved rainfall could then be used for other purposes or emergency backup. They have water, needs refined, also the air is quite breezy there, smaller wind Vanes could be used for powering the plant, it wouldn't need to run 24/7 after tanks have filled.
