fun fact the hotel in game is actually realistic the hotel was ment to be confusing as all fuck to people inside so they couldn’t get out so seeing how cartoons is loosing his fucking mind currently about the lack of sense in the hotel it makes it all the more fun

Actually that's not true, it's been proven to be verifiably false. The newspapers (which were far more tabloid-esque in those days) claimed that the "murder castle" had all of these hidden rooms and traps and whatnot, but in reality it was just a normal three story building. The only hidden room it genuinely had was used to hide furniture that Holmes purchased with counterfeit or stolen money. It's actually really fascinating how much the newspapers embellished the story of Holmes. You should read up on it, the actual story is still chilling but it's nowhere near as crazy as the news made it out to be.

Yup just like @colesontaylor said. That's actually a misconception no doubt brought on by writers using their artistic license to make the real events more sensationalize. There's no trapdoor or spike traps, it's just normal rooms that Holmes used to murder people and the hidden room is to store furniture that he attained illegally. You know how extremely absurd of an idea it is for one person to run a grand hotel all by himself while navigating pulls and levers to trap his victims. He also didn't even murdered 200 or whatever it is that the game claimed. He was suspected of murdering 9 individuals but was only charged for one. He also "confessed" to have murdered over 20 individuals, some are in reality still alive at the time. So both the tabloid media and Holmes are obviously just sensationalizing the snot out of the case like it's nobody's business. It makes sense for him to spout that "Devil Inside Me" nonsense too, he's just having fun and doing a little bit of trolling before he kicks the bucket.

Has it been buggy? YES. Immensely so, I was playing with a buddy of mine we were dealing with black screens, glitches, floating objects, unable to pick up items, quick times not working, etc it was horrible. The glitches ruined the immersion of the game for us, and it’s a good game! If it didn’t had all of these glitches! It would have been awesome

It’s a shame this game hasn’t been running so smooth, I had issues when playing Man of Medan. Until Dawn was smooth and only a few issues with The Quarry, unfortunately I think it’s one flaw with Supermassive Games is they dish some of these games out so quickly they don’t pick up on these things.

I played on ps5 and I couldn’t choose my language 😂 It was stuck on english but whenever the narrator came up, the language changed to my language. Also, the facial expressions suck for a game that is all about storytelling and characters. Thank goodness Toonz and Delirious' comedic timing is so good, bc this story has the wildest plot hole to me: This crew is supposed to be well-hearsed on H.H. Holmes and serial killer shit in general, yes? In the entire setup for this story, the idea of a copycat killer (something fairly common IRL) legitimately NEVER crossed their minds? Even Kate; the **criminal psychologist?** It took power outages and their host booking it outta there for them to START TO SUSPECT that something was off with this too-good-to-be-true deal of a lifetime? It's a pet peeve of mine when writers have to make established smart characters dumbasses to move the spooky stuff along.
