You know what I love about this setup, is it feels cathartic to kind of give bosses a taste of their own medicine in not reacting to being hit at all. 'Sorry but I get to do my big dumb long combo and you either get hit or have to sit back watch and avoid it'

just a small note: your buff list at 1:14 includes protection of the erdtree, not blessing of the erdtree (which is the spell you actually cast so I’m assuming that’s what you meant) protection gives you 30% elemental resist which would be great but it’s overwritten by the ironjar aromatic because they’re both body buffs. Just a PSA for those who may want to try this themselves that they want Blessing of the Erdtree and not Protection. Even better, if you’re going to do something like this yourself get familiar with the buff stacking system. just yesterday I was playing with a dude that cast flame grant me strength on himself immediately followed by black flames protection, which also do not stack.

Verdigris Talisman is imo the only defensive talisman you will most likely need since it will get a huge boost from the Ironjar Aromatic. So you can use the other 2 slots for stamina/fp recovery or more dps with the Shard of Alexander/Rotten Insignia. Thanks for sharing this with the world, I have been destroying in pvp with this build, highly recommend it for both pvp & pve!

Verdigris talisman is a great idea, probably swap the pearldrake +3 since that's less dmg negation than the specialised element def talismans (although VERD is just a dragoncrest greatshield talisman that only works when overloaded/ironjar aromatic high BUT they stack. you would never use it without the dragoncrest Phys +3) IT MIGHT be 20% ALL damage type negation in which case you have a point, but stacking defense and regen with the godskin swaddling cloth and dragoncrest Phys/elemental +3 is defo more important if you want to do this at a reasonable level if at all. I think you underestimate how important stacking the dragoncrest talismans for negation is since they're multiplicative with everything else too. he would've died without them against a couple bosses where he got below ~20%-40%. those bosses with no regen like malenia that don't move like midra id use a damage talisman but most bosses will be hitting the still comparitively frail YOU more than your hitting them. in new game+ against elemental damage bosses it might be better to use a 60% elemental res (again stacks multiplicatively) incant instead of golden vow but it'd be situational.

I think the crucial part isn’t keeping the poise up, but making sure the damage can chip away the boss health in large amount. You can’t keep reapplying your defense up too long or you’ll be out of resources really fast.
