It is absolutely unfair and promotes account selling to make them permanently unavailable. Take Montague for example: I'd do anything to get Montague since I missed out on him and he's my all-time favorite out of every skin in the game. I've been tempted to purchase an account with him on it, but I'm by the book.

I'd say they can. I own a good chunk of exclusives and even I don't use them nowadays. Between the time of the Paradigm incident and now, I've seen a total of 1 person using her... and it was only for the "og" style since people think the skin is "mid." Just bring them back tbh; getting kinda tired playing with friends and I do an emote only to answer "it's from a BP"

That's how it is with every exclusive thing in Fortnite, it's literally illegal to identically re-release something that was labled exclusive. Such as how battle passes before August 7th, 2024 are. Things from all battle passes before that date will never return because it's illegal to do so, the only way they'd be able to do it is if they added edit styles for people that bought it initially because they legally have to retain the exclusivity, and even then that might be a stretch.

Indeed, And FOMO is predatory that is worse then lootboxes and microtransactions, it causes a lot of toxicity, entitlement and gatekeeping in the community, only way to fix this is to get rid of FOMO and let new players in, even if losing some OG players, but still does not leave out new players that are starting out first time or players who don't buy into the whole FOMO system, so yeah Also, some exclusive and limited timed items can return and stay exclusive and limited timed, but no time restraints or anything as well as come around for a future event, this is what some players don't get and some items can keep their rarity, just bring them back for a limited time or for special events, so there

@@bradwhite5884 Yeah I agree, however it's a change they'd have to make while going forward, they legally wouldn't be able to bring back exclusive items from the past as if something is labeled exclusive and then is later released (meaning no longer exclusive) with no changes to it, it's literally illegal. The only possible way they would be able to actually bring back genuinely exclusive things from the past is if they added edit styles for people who initially bought it because they legally have to retain the exclusivity.

And all exclusive stuff epic created like merrymint pickaxe, where it didn't say that it won't come back later and didn't say it is Limited Time only that Time. Can come back when they want. PlayStation plus cosmetics are exclusive and won’t return. Indigo Kuno is PlayStation so it won’t make return. Fortnite crew legacy cosmetics won’t return. Also Fortnite crew exclusive items will not return as well. Old BP will not make return because it says exclusive and it stay exclusive.
