The thing is, you can make non flash games if you want, you might have some silent fans not happy with going allin on flash games, BUT StarCraft is a game for two. Every Flash game is also a someone else game so, aren't we all just happy? My voice - more Flash. I agree with what you said, this is unique, seeing flash adapt and mold the meta is imo very interesting to watch.

I don't know if Flash is molding the meta, or if Flash is molding himself into the meta. So far his games against the tippytop players have not generally gone well. I think he's just trying to find his place and what works for him in the current day, but I'm not sure he's reinventing the wheel or destroying the meta. We'll see.

@@theSato I agree, there's definitely some give and take. I think it will be a mixture of both - Flash adjusting to the meta as well as adjusting the meta. We have already seen some non standard plays work out for him really well, but to change the meta, these plays would have to be able to be executed by any decent player, not just Flash.

As mostly an observer, it always felt to me like for a standard TvP build, terran's objective was just to hit his timings and manage any losses from harassment or whatever. So if the terran can just do what they want, they tend to win. That's why a terran is happy with getting out of the early game "even." Protoss can't normally just win a fair fight with gatewayman, so they need something extra, and that starts with proxy zealots and gas steals and crap like that.

Of all the things I see when I watch, I I really like the way he turrets. if there's vision, 1-1 relay is fine. if there's a vision blocker, he gets a pair. For the 9oc expo, he got even more. But aways miss 1 turret at wall between nat and main, so common as protoss' turret-free safe zone, then bounce from mineral line to mineral line to jackpot a transfer, or score on miners et al. eg. Snow v Speed ASL17

I was 5 years old when this game came out. I first played it in Middle school in my computer class. My favorite race was Terran and then Protoss as a close 2nd. I wasn't ever any good because I didn't know strategy or builds. So I just cheated when I played against the computer 😂. I miss this game terribly. I need to invest in a PC so I can play this glorious game again. Thanks for always posting Artosis. Like I said previously, I don't always comment on every video. But you damn sure believe I watched it and gave the thumbs up 👍.

I love watching Flash games. Other terrans will limit test by skipping a bunker or delaying a turrret; Flash will limit test by throwing down a CC multiple minutes faster. In the paradigm of innovators vs honers, Flash is fucking both, and it's wild.
