Congratulations finding a new home. We just lived through Hurricane Ian here in Florida. No phone, no power for 2 days, just the howling of the strong winds. But we are safe and sound, and life goes on. Hope your family is safe and can't wait to see your new place.

I recommend Tokyo bay area, (Toyosu Ariake and Shinonome ) in the future if you are interested in living in Tokyo. It is easily accessible from Ginza, Tokyo Station, and Haneda Airport. Most of all, you will love living with water and nature.🙂 I hope you will find a good house anyway!!!!💓

I understand 230k yen a month is a lot, but for 2 working adults for a house that fits 6 it's very reasonable. I'm on my own and pay converted 280k yen a month for a one bedroom apartment in my city. I barely scrape by working extremely hard. It's the only apartment that had a place for me to move in to when I was in a similar situation as you were here!
We just got hit with a cat 4 hurricane here in Florida where I live. I’m hoping you guys weren’t hit too hard with that storm and all is well! Our contracts here are 2 years at a time, but even so they asked us to move after the contract expired. 13 years is great for kids in school, that's for sure. And the hassle of packing/unpacking is certainly a focus of the next video :) Thanks for all your prayers!

There wouldn't be so many houses which can contain 6 member family in Japan. What type of house did you find? Cheap one is made of wood and a little noisy by neighbors. Plural storeys condominium is a little expensive. Do you think you keep living in Japan till Sara grows to want own room separate from Joshua?

Don't know where to ask this on your channel. What do you know about the housing for homeless in Japan? Watched a short video of a elderly Japanese couple who have been living in a floodplain for 20 years. Does Habitat for Humanity or a similar organization exist to help others with low income housing and restoration of homes?
@LIJ4 ай бұрын
Not sure I can answer that - do you have a link to that video? Technically we (all the entire neighborhood) lives in a floodplain! They let you know when you go to buy/rent in our area.
Tokyo is the place where houses are the smallest and rents are the highest among Japan's 47 prefectures. So if you live with a large family, you will have a very hard time.
