I became aware of Center for a Stateless Society and Gary Chartier a few months ago and have been reading a lot of essays by Gary, Roderick T Long, Kevin Carson as well as read some of the thoughts of Benjamin Tucker and William B Greene. A laissez-faire, freed market would socialize production because there would be no way for capitalists to enclose capital from labor.

As long as the market isn’t exploitative, it can be free as it wants. Still I think we must judge societies by how they treat their marginalized.

We don't genuinely have a Free-Market, what we have is Corporatism!

Markets are part of capitalism but they are indeed anti-capitalist. Capitalists want to make as much profit as possible but free markets (to the degree we have them) and competition stops them. Many capitalists love market capture via the state. And they hate the thought of actually free markets, where they would have to compare on a level playing field. Why do that when they can use the state to game things in their favour? Or as one politician put it (I forget who): “I am pro markets, not pro businesses. The two are not synonymous.”
