Thanks for making another informative tog video, and for the mention. My son said the night crawler guy was fishing two hooks with beads or floats, similar to a kingfish rig, and more than once caught two at a time! Unfortunately, I was too busy futilely trying not to get skunked to notice how he rigged the worms, but it didn’t seem like he was having much trouble with stolen baits.

@@mistercarpenter5895 ah, now I could see how that would prevent them from tearing away the worms. Smaller hooks would definitely help. Thanks for the information and glad you found it informative!

I just did those 3 spots myself lol. When you added the mango I was like yes!! I was thinking of mangos with it , looked amazing Sam. Great meal again!

Thanks Lou! Yeah we really must have just missed each other at that spot hahaha. To be honest, this was my first time having fresh mango on tacos and now it’s going to be on all the tacos I make moving forward 😂

Sam, i wonder what beef & chicken liver would do on tog,maybe put in a small piece of netting for a bait bag & tied to the hook....
@SaltySamFishing2 ай бұрын
Something like this I feel could definitely work for tog, maybe attract some other fish too! 🤔

We use night crawlers for flounder exclusively, they are not nearly as hard on the baits as those fish you're catching though.
@SaltySamFishing2 ай бұрын
Interesting, I could see crawlers working well for flounder too! Yeah these tog are reckless on baits lol.
@FishWithMhei2 ай бұрын
Not with night crawlers 😢 my impression that they only eat crustaceans is ruined 😅 But, I caught them on shrimps and clams too! What set up do you use? Rod and reel
@SaltySamFishing2 ай бұрын
I guess they’ll eat just about anything 😆! 7’ medium Fish Heads Inshore rod is what I’m using with a 3000 size Penn Battle DX reel.
