Team Gemma and I don’t often say that! Gemma represents working class, “common” “chav” mums who are constantly judged based off of their appearance, accent, background. They get dismissed or accused of abuse in situations like this almost immediately and like Gemma face harsh treatment until eventually proven right. If it was Katy or like Sally or someone, they would of listened. The tea thing was a genuine mistake. Not the same thing I know but when I’m exhausted I accidentally grab the wrong tea bags without even thinking about it. I put milk in the cup before water or put sugar in the coffee that’s meant to have no sugar in. Mistakes happen. Doesn’t mean abuse. What a massive jump.

That's so true I bet if the likes of Sarah or Maria complained that their kids were sick or had made the mistake with lavender they wouldn't be acussed of making their child ill or of abuse Just cause somebody is loud and brash doesn't mean their abusive I bet if Gemma made a scene like Maria did smashing that van (cause she thought petrol/desial ran vehicles caused her sons asthma) she been judged a lot harsher and seen as a trouble

Little Chesney was such a sweetie it was sad how Cilla used to let him down and he would still plead with her not to leave I was glad when Cilla returned Chesney showed his disdain and anger towards her as his now a parent and grown up his feelings towards her changed

They were so cruel to Gemma ESPECIALLY LINDA and she has done nothing wrong. Made a genuine mistake about the lavender oils but thats it and what parent doesn’t make one mistake. Poor Gemma if I was her I would struggle to forgive 😢

Linda was horrible towards Gemma. At least chesney felt bad for not believing her and even before it was obvious Joseph was ill he never believed Gemma would hurt Joseph and didn’t want to take him off her. Hope Gemma does forgive him but totally understandable her being annoyed.

Gemma is right to hurt and angry She wasn't listened to or taking serious when she expressed her concerns and then she was acussed of making Joseph sick and Chesney didn't really go out of his way stand up for Gemma She was made feel everyone tbink she was paranoid. Chesney sometimes doesn't appreciate that Gemma what a great stepmother Gemma is to Joseph she loves Joseph like he was her own not all stepparents are like that somge actually make their step kids feel unwanted and not part of the family Chesney also needs to apologise to Joesph He didn't take Joesph complains of feeling ill serious and Joesph mostly well behaved and doesn't tell lies not like his cousin

I think Gemma is being a bit hyporcrtical for not forgiving Chesney as both Chesney and Daniel forgave her after Bertie suffered a overdose after taking Gemma's medication [that she left lying around].Besides Gemma did poison Joseph with the lavender oils[thinking it was tea]and yet Chesney forgave that too.
