Really enjoyed that, showed that deep down at the business end of keeping the cars fit to race the guys and girls are still "normal". Very cool they let Guy spanner on the car without hesitation. He is a national treasure and a fellow lorry mechanic 😊

Guy is perhaps one of the best examples to people that, if you put your mind into a task at the best of your ability with no messing around, you can do anything. This man thinks, understands and replicates, purely because he throws himself into the task and adapts. We could succeed too, if we actually bloody tried

I’m a little annoyed with the lack of deference given to Guy. With all due respect, I’d like to see any one of those cocky Williams guys ride a snorting 230bhp monster for six 36 mile laps on a twisty narrow road through tiny villages and the edge of cliffs at 200mph in a race that kills 2 riders a year on average. It nearly killed him too. Sure he’s never changed an F1 tire in a pit before, but treat this man with some respect.

Williams are at the back because of their addiction to meetings, pie charts and mularkey. The rigidity within the team and resistance to change is what will keep them chained there. Hopefully James can get rid of the old wood

What a load of nonsense these F1 people do spout. As for the 18 year old Stroll, three podiums in eight years - hardly a world beater...just as well his daddy is a billionaire and owns the Racing Point Team he drives for - enough said.

umm I wouldn't say that at all. If you watch at roughly 39:17 they are notified of the tyre change literally as the tyres are being taken off the rack, the other crew members do the same as guy, the difference is that they take apart the tyre blankets quicker in the new position. Considering the fact that guy hadn't trained for an event like that and he still managed to get it done only fractionally slower is fairly impressive to be honest.
