Yeah, Himalayan is not a tractor. Never had royal Enfield built any tractors. They only make two wheelers. And Himalayan is known as an adventure tourer and not an off-roader.

Himalayan bikes are capable for doing this off-roading😁, Not only Himalayan any bikes can do this if they have better off-roading tyres, By the way I don't think those riders are just kids on track, they don't knw the basics of off-roading, the sitting position can shows that clearly, they were sitting light going for long tour in hghway, Lol😂, Pls Enfield, if you are conducting such kind of programs makes some qualified riders, the basics of off-roading is bend forward and keep the hand wider and look in tobthe road, Sad🤓🤓

I've seen a Himalayan cross from India to Europe, climb off trail paths, and ride comparably on regular roads...your point? The main problem here is the lack of experience for these riders. They can learn, of course, but it's not showing the ability of more seasoned riders.

I just did it with my fascino.. I was not dirt biking, but when somehow I fell into the pit at night, I got rid of it quite easily.. And off course my trousers and shoes were wet of the dirt.. It should be a piece of cake for Himalayan..

great that you did it with fascino...👍 but just that we can do it with any bike doesnt mean ADV bikes are worthless... normal bikes are not meant for these kind of roads but still if you push them harder you can do it... but ADVs are built for purpose and yes its a piece of cake for bikes like Himalayan...cheers👍

bike can easily do 100-120 but on the Himalayan you dont expect more than that. You can install different mods on the bike depending on your needs like the knuckle guards, extra led lights, hazard flasher, saddle stay, mobile holder with charger and many.

The Himalayan doesn't have any inbuilt electronic rider aids like traction control, etc. The KTM Super Adventure R, would be great for any amateur on any terrain. Do check out KTM's Adventure series. The only con I see is no plans for India yet...

The himalayan is not made to go offroad. I went to a motorbike trip in the north of colombia with a friend: me on a honda 250 xr, and my friend on the himalayan. On the offroad parts every day somethings got broken on this bike, and my friend never crashed it. Blinkercover fells off, headligth gets cracked, rear spocket got cracked, and because of the fibrations the bike loses so many screws and parts fell of. You have always adjust the chain because you nearly lose it when you go offroad. I had always to wait and had no problems with the honda and i push the honda to the limit. My opinion: don't buy a himalayan when you want to go offroad you destroy it. The parts on this bike are to cheap and get broken.
