I did this with a hair dryer. It works just fine under water, BUT water has now washed away all the grease used to lubricate the motor and any bearings it might have, so it will burn out soon.

OK, this vaccuum / hoooooooooooover is amazing that it still runs under water! I would have expected the electronics to just stop. Even that little motor! I think I have to get me one of these!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey Gatis! Can you make it shoot fire???????????
