Thanks to your post, I came up with a rather disturbing figure. So, Ryu has 101 level clears and 80 deaths, meaning a chance of 101/181 to clear a level without dying if the rate stays the same. (101/181)^16 is the chance of him beating 16 in a row, and that is 0.0088365915778%, less than 1 in 10,000!

I love watching this challenge. Anyone that reads this that knows if more people are making videos of attempting this, please let me know. I'm playing it and today I got 5 levels again almost 6 but I did something stupid. I'm up to Three 5 levels, Two 4's, and the rest mostly just 1's and straight up quick deaths at beginning of levels. There's too many. 10 second levels are usually killer ones too. The odds are definitely against the player.

Great video, Ryu! If you want to do a different challenge later, I think it would be fun to try the 100 Mario, but you must finish each level with 100 lives. (You could die, but you must then be able to gain your lives back before you can complete the level.)

You should tack on 30 minutes of your wife playing music at the end of all of these 1-life-expert videos so that when we watch them on replay we never know if you will win, even if it is the last run of the session. The way it is now, it is obvious you won’t make it for the last few runs because we can see there’s only a few minutes left in the video. Also, it is a good excuse to promote her music!

It has to be a random variable if you don't want people to know when the run ends. If you had two braincells to rub together you'd see that. Nor are you streaming it if you're watching this vid, nor would adding time matter on stream since streams don't have that display for end of runtime. Nor do you know what decumbent means. Didn't he get like, over half way through within his first couple attempts at it? Some speedrunners will literally go tens of thousands of runs before their perfect one. All it takes is the right level rng and a good day.

@@ryanjensen5504 it is matematically possible, but probability is very very low, with the main factor being the 16 levels. it is too much to one-shot, even for ryu, because it is very unlikely that you don't get a troll or a level that requires a specific initial move in 16 levels.
