Have you considered playing rom hack monotypes? A lot of starters get new types added to them which might help widen the options plus straight up national dex (Inclement Emerald is pretty good for dragon options with Sceptile and Serperior now dragons plus being able to choose the region of your starters, Noibat in Rustboro Tunnel, Axew in Granite Cave, Turtonator in Fiery Path, plus Trapinch and Gible in the desert to name a few)

Loving the content dude, you’ve really came far. Would love to see BDSP with only fairy types. I know those games don’t have a lot to offer, but fairy types would definitely be interesting and something new, would definitely get you some mileage out of them. When I first saw the title of this video, I was about to ask how the hell this run was possible with how few Dragons there are in this region initially. That modifications Silph made was genius, really made this run be one of the most unique and entertaining. Really surprised how close Silph was to losing the whole run. You'd think just because he had Dragons, he'd be able to roll through most things in this game, but the end really had me at the edge of my seat. Hope to see more runs like this with this type of modifications. Maybe then, A Fire Diamond/Pearl run is possible. XD (I know he did a Fire Platinum Run kind of recently. I merely jest the idea).

"To encounter a Bagon within the Swamp area, the player must have unlocked the block capability and received enough notifications from Baoba that both Peak and Forest block items are available for placement. The Swamp area must then be made an active area within the Safari Zone for 120 days. This quadruples the block score for each forest and peak block placed within it. The player can then place 14 peak blocks (14*4=56) and 9 forest blocks (9*4=36), which achieves the required scores of 56 and 35 respectively to enable Bagon". Same with Gible, but in the "rocky beach" area. Lastly their levels should be 44 and NOT 15.

Tips: 1) If you do it, use Nidoking as a special attacker, he is the only good one available, 2) Take Nidoran Female at the start, 3) Don't evolve your Nidos before the second gym and 4)Make Marowak a tanky attacker.
