@@craigbolton2231 it has a Semi randomized moveset; when it teleports it bursts out of one of the other ghost animals on the area and gets an attack based on what animal it came out of, goats give it the roll, I think one of them gives it the super jumpies, and I don't remember the rest

There is something beautiful about not being able to spend runes. You don't get happy when earning them, you don't get sad when losing them and you don't think about what to do with them. It's not that you can't spend them, it's that you don't have to in this run

As someone who's first playthrough was entirely bleeding daggers and the poison antspur rapier. This run hits home. And yes, you don't know pain until you fight Malenia with daggers that cannot stagger her. To be honest, I never knocked many of the bosses down or flinched any the entire first run. Thought it was entirely normal at the time.

You should try to beat elden ring using only prelate's charge. You can legitimately get it without fighting any bosses, and it's a pretty fun unique weapon art, while still posing potential difficulties on a number of bosses

The Elden Beast fight is exactly what I'm looking to do for a build. It's a Black Flame build. I know people poo poo on Black Flame, but i like it. And it's a nice boss nuker (PvP nuker too if done right imo)

I did it once, but purely focused on the tornado, and Jesus Christ does it do a lot of damage. It's very slow in pvp, true, but with enough determination you can land anything, which I did do a couple of times. If you catch someone with low poise they're just straight-up trapped and will die in a second or two.

A better unleveled spirit summon could be the skeletal soldier ashes as they respawn if their dead bodies aren't hit. They're really useful for drawing aggro almost infinitely if you can keep the boss from turning on the corpses

You should do a run where you’re not allowed to pick up items. It locks you out of Rennala unless you glitch into Raya, and technically it’s impossible but who cares if you pick up the message finger? Also, to make it more interesting, you could choose to lock yourself out of shops and remembrances. I’ve been trying it and it’s going decent so far.

Like many others, I would also love a randomizer run. If you don't want to be doing modded challenges just yet, I would also really enjoy a "vampiric" challenge run. No estus, but you can heal through spells and abilities (life-stealing fist, greatstars, riposte talisman)

You should do a no death run. You have not restrictions on weapons, armor, or anything like that, but if you ever die, the run starts over.

Ye that's the thing about souls games, you might struggle with some bosses people find easy but then absolutely demolish ones that people find hard I breezed through fire giant, but got stuck on red wolf (although looking back I was a quite a bit underleveled)

Not much more. Most of the damage of Black Flame Tornado comes from the Black Flame DoT effect, which is entirely based on the target's max HP.

On my dex playthrough I powerstanced the seppuku poison antspur with a frost needle to get 4 status effects with every attack. The jumping L1 has a triple attack with high mobility. Could have worked well here with frost on Rogier's rapier. (Or even keep the bleed and just double down
