Can I Beat GM Mode Only Using Specialists? (FULL PLAYTHROUGH)

Specialists are dressed up to be the versatile Superstars, who can put on a good show with almost any kind of Wrestler they're up against, but how do they fare when they only ever fight... each other? I copied all your settings and did it by 214k more fans. I think I bought more power cards than you did and focused on building up rivalries, fun challenge though 😀

@@barnabyblack1995 Y'all call it a challenge but this is literally the only way I have played GM mode... I haven't ever won by less than 300k fans. There is only maybe 2 weeks out of 50 where I am not #1. I only sign and draft specialists.. I can get a 5 star match out of specialists with a 3 star rivalry EVERY single time!!!

The best way to rule GM mode. 50 weeks. Because eventually you can build up your roster quickly. And use outside wrestlers from other shows. And gradually grow your roster out over the year. Also not to mention with 50 weeks. Raw will peak and start to go stagnant while you can build up a good roster of 55+ wrestlers and use call outs to build future feuds. Now to specialist. They can work any opposite role. Build up 45-65 wrestlers. Once you find a specialty match. You can rinse and repeat and build up a 2 tier feud match to a find 3-4 stars easily.

Lol, the UK bias was stunning. "OH, it'll have to be a random match for the title". *selects Dunn The game is about building rivalries. So alternate matches with promos weekly to build rivalries to pop at lvl 4 for ppvs

There's bugs everywhere.....i had Morrison and promised him a title match, he had the match and his opponent (the champ)had a run in against him..... Morrison won, even though he wasn't supposed to.... and became the new champion. Then sent me a message that I broke my promise to give him a title shot.....I was like wtf

At 18:45 I don’t know why but in extreme rules matches they have it to where it doesn’t matter if you have a dq if the other guy wins they are champions they just messed that up I hope they fix that

Yeah like Chase says, if it's extreme rules it makes sense as anyone could run in and help without it ending in a DQ :) In my case it was a normal match, so as soon as The Miz benefitted from Seth's help he should've been DQ'd but wasn't

What if the interference took the ref out? I did interferences in MyGM that ended up in dq, so it may be just luck? If you interfered the Miz it would end up in DQ and the title would have been retained

Yeah I hate how when you have a run in on a championship match and the champ loses. The winner gets the title. It ruins the story I create for a rivalry

Do better. Only have run ins on champions when you have the card that makes it so you can choose the winner.

99/100 times the GM goal is unnecessary, and the reward is usually garbage and not worth doing your weekly goal for. The only reason to have a run in on a champ is if you really need that extra 11% show quality from having 5 specialty matches/run-ins.

The challenge is actually easy as hell and simple, I only use specialists in GM mode unless I have to sign someone to keep another from getting injured because of stamina issues. That is the ONLY time I ever sign a non-specialist and I am constantly putting on 5 star matches.

I think when the person interferes with a match and the person they didn’t attack wins.. maybe it backfired or a DQ.. it’s WWE, they make up their own rules. Lol

@@DiamondLobby the only thing I can think of is that sometimes interferences don’t touch the opponent which is what the ref would need to see to call for a dq. I know i’ve seen interference in universe mode where even though they were supposed to run in and attack they stayed at ringside. Still a bug but at least it’s consistent across game types.

In the SVR 2008 Game they never been restricted to only 2 Types of Matches I Love the Concept of this but besides the Singles action & Tag Team you just have TLC, Extreme Rules N Tables match like WTF are you suppose to do with that

Yeah I feel like this is a really good base for a GM mode. Almost like this is the trial for it or something. Hopefully an update will come out and add a tonne of stuff, but I imagine that will all be saved for 2K23 :(

Unless you are stacking fighter/bruiser you should always fill out the women's first starting from the top, and least available. In this case you should have picked Becky first because the computer has a Massive chance of picking Becky. There is also only 3 giants so if thats the route pick all ³ of them first.

Most specialist I use are almost always giving me a 4 1/2 star feuds, Seth Rollins is usually the mvp.

There weren't many specialist females in the draft, and there were more heels than faces, so had to be careful when selecting them, and needed to keep it at an even number for matchmaking purposes (so they all had an opponent etc). Also I'm not sure what you mean by mad guys, do you mean superstars that aren't popular or just not good ones?
