The aircraft potential in ksp was already insainly high, this challenge is an amazing way to explore the limits of aircraft in ksp2 keep up the good work.

I think if you build the parasite craft first, and control the carrier aircraft from the parasite you won't need to switch between them because it will just count the carrier as a stage.

I believe you are right, I think i can just re-root to the probe core in the rocket and have it automatically switch like you said, used to do something similar with stock missiles in KSP1

It be cool seeing multiplayer in KSP 2 and have a stratolaunch system where someone piloting the carrier plane and another is controlling the rocket.

Nice video. Not sure if you're aware, you can trim the aircraft if it's pitching a little up/down by holding the alt key and pressing the opposite control e.g. if pitching down: hold alt and tap pitch up a few times - test and repeat. You should be able to get the aircraft flying level without any further inputs needed.

with that first plane, was there a reason you didn't lower the maximum deployment angle for your control surfaces, since you said that was what was making it hard to do fine adjustments for landing?

Just pretty hard to do on the fly (literally) and the problem was also to do with how they nearly instantly move into max deflection when you tap the keys, which causes the whole plane to oscillate. But good news for future vids! I picked up a flightstick recently which is letting me move the control surfaces to a MUCH finer degree without having to sacrifice any maneuverability!

The Stratolauncher unfortunately didn't make it past 2km away from the probe rocket, as far as I could tell, could very well be something I'm doing wrong though! lol

you don’t need to start the new mission before competing it, ex: if you are out of atmosphere already and start the get out of the atmosphere mission you will still complete it

little tip you don't need purple subtitle text on the bottom of the screen if youtube has a already built in subtitle system I'm not criticizing that you have already put in subtitles in the bottom and its annoying I'm just saying that i know a lot of youtubers that do that and trust me i kind of hate them for it by removing them it should make looking at the craft instead of the subtitles better just a little tip for the future
