Confusion is a volatile status condition not a non-volatile status condition because it ends after some turns, as opposed to something like a burn or paralysis which doesnt go away without user input.

the way I did my tynamo hunt was: 1. I search for an outbreak. 2. Before going into the outbreak, I save the game and make a shiny electric sandwich. 3. I go into the outbreak and KO the Pokemon until the outbreak is dead. 4. If I don't find the shiny before that happens, I reset my game, getting the outbreak and my herba mystica back. 5. I rinse and repeat until I find it. I understand you do your hunts full-odds, so I can see why you wouldn't use these exact steps. anyway it took me about three resets to find the shiny

Volatile status conditions are status conditions that are lost when switching, while non-volatile status conditions stay after switching. Some examples: Volatile: Confusion, Infatuation, Drowsy. Non-volatile: Paralysis, Sleep, Burn. The easiest way to know if a status is non-volatile is when it shows up with a status icon.

I haven't finished the video but let me recomend u for next runs oricorio is amazing, it fast as heck, it can quiver dance thanks to mirror herb, and if you change it's tera type revelation dance will be the tera type of the oricorio after terrastalizing, and i know you might not want that but on double battles like ryme, if u have two of them u can do four moves and since is really fast u can do them before the opponent. That applies only to dance moves like... Revelation dance and quiver dance.
