I always used an action replay to change Beedrill's moves. It's a bee with visible wings why TF can't it learn Fly? Once you learn Twineedle the game gets super easy.

Beedrill getting Swords Dance & Hyper Beam in Gen 1 makes it extremely powerful. I loved that run :)
