I played a tournament this weekend and I won two games with the budapest gambit. I was a bit nervous because it was the first time I played it over the board. But I won and the next game I was black, I decided to play it again and also won :)

My mic setup may be a little overkill for a new channel. I will tell you what I use but please don’t think you need these kind of professional mics to start at channel. A simple blue yeti will do. I use 2 Sennheiser MKH50 (one on each side of the board) to pick up the tapping noises and the sounds from the board. I use a Schoepps CMIT5u for my voice.

I actually prefer more "unintentional" asmr and that's what I want to make, so audio fidelity is not a high priority... Yours crosses that gray zone very well though, that's why I'm subscribed.
