There is no way people think todo beats naobito! Naobito is literally special grade 1, which is a level above grade 1. The grades are there for a reason. Dagon himself said that naobito might even be faster than Jogo (who we know is the quickest of the 4 disaster curses), While todo and yuji together were struggling against hanami(the slowest disaster curse). Speed plays a huge role in this fight. Naobito can tag todo even before he can clap, and without boogie woogie, todo is still strong but no way he's winning against naobito.

It’s a bit confusing but Special Grade 1 isn’t actually higher than Grade 1. Special Grade 1 just refers to sorcerer’s who are grade 1 level but operate outside of Jujutsu Tech. While I don’t disagree that Naobito would likely beat Shibuya Todo, I’d argue he’s gotten a lot stronger during the Shinjuku showdown. At least enough for me to comfortably put him above Naobito.

Noabito lacks Attack, and Todo can outsmart him easily. His ability will work great again Projection sorcery.

Grade doesn’t potentially mean power, like Yuji and todo were packing up hanami, which is a special grade. (Hanami obliterates Naobito) and Yuji is basically a grade one at this time. His real grade was grade 4 since he was just a first year but still. And todo is extremely smart, he will finds a way to catch Naobito
