Can I connect my Roland S-1 straight into my iPhone 15 to record videos?

Sound quality is great. Can you use the USB cable for MIDI and Audio at the same time? I.e. send MIDI from the iPhone to the S-1, then record audio from the S-1 back to the iPhone (using something like Garage Band)?

Yoooo do you have the sound of the iphone in the headphone output of the s1 ?

The only drawback here: Only one device. So if you want to have a jam with the T-8, you cannot mix them over USB. If anyone knows a way to mix over USB(no MX-1 please) I will buy you a beer

You cannot it’s the hardwired signal path…audio in doesn’t route to USB’s audio out.

I heard that the new P-6 unit does this. Not sure 100% but it seems that it routes the audio in signal over the usb, whereas S-1, T-8 and J-6 don't.
