I have this break cue and love it. I did however change to a Kamui Sai break tip and it made cue ball control so much better
@christiankimmel1806 Жыл бұрын
I was just about to suggest changing the tip as well. I have the wrapless BRKR and changed the terrible phenolic tip to a Taom 2.0 and have so much more cue ball control with it.

Thanks guys! Any experience with hard leather tips? I have a friend that is suggesting a samsara.

@@PoolProblemsi also have this cue and i will replace the tip to samsara because phenolic is so bad

@@islamway962 ditch the samsara, and go for taom! I tried both. Huge difference!

You don’t need to buy a new break cue, I can do like that break shot with a house cue !! It’s all about the break technique and stroke. A regular break cue with hard tip is good enough.

0:32 My man this is NOTHING compared to one I pulled off the other night. I did that same thing tho. I elevated the back of the cue and came up to hit, except mine was a full power break attempt. My results were what could possibly be a world record jump shot. I was lucky nobody was on the table beyond me because the cue ball landed on its racking area. Do you have any tips or recommendations on what you did differently? Bridge, grip, stroke, anything like that? On some 7 and 9 foot tables I play on, I get this to work on 1 out of every 3 or 4 breaks. But there's one place I play at regularly that has 8' tables and I can't seem to get a pop on them no matter what I do.

It depends... I've never met a Cue, that could teach me anything. I too have a special Break Cue, but it hasn't taught me SQUAT. But using it, while practicing with my BreakRAK, has taught me how to Break, which is now allowing me to Run Racks....

Found you on GYGC's community tab. I love pool! Instead of a regular eating table in my dining room, it's a pool table lol. 🎱

Thanks for sharing your journey to a better break. If you go back to the old break cue you had shown in the beginning session, are you breaking better with it now? Or is it still the same old?
@PoolProblems Жыл бұрын
It's better, but not as good as with the carbon fibre. Especially when I try to generate a lot of force, I tend to lose control more often with the old one. I also like the slickness of the carbon fibre better, now that I'm used to it compared to wood. I'm now officially all carbon (playing cue, break cue, jump cue). Thanks for the comment!

damn! now you're making me want to make a bad financial decision to get a carbon break cue! :P
