I'd open 3000 but got no totem fragment, but it auto dropped two days later for free in my daily quest. Your case is rare.

its totally luck. dont be surprized. i opened 1400 together in a event without totem. 1300 on another day without totem. still struggling to get totem without spending emeralds.

300 spheres, no luck. But i opened them 20-30 per day. Have around 700 left

It's not a good idea to open the sphere every day. Not even when you have 1000. I was lucky. You should save more and then open them at once.
