I deeply love this green and I'm so glad that you used some color theory and got away with bleaching your hair.I feel like many times people keep bleaching their hair, even though they could totally avoid it by using the color wheel, obviously if they want to bleach their hair, no worries, it's up to them, but why not playing with colors every now and then? Next time, if you'd like to go back to an ashy blonde, you could put red or pink on top of your hair as green and red are opposite colors, therefore they cancel each other :-)

@@zamiaramirez1390 yes, if you want ashy blonde, you need to bleach you hair. Putting red over green would just create this weird muddy dark blonde (it also may turn out patchy)

@@zamiaramirez1390 you're right, most of the times the color turns out pretty muddy, but every type of hair reacts differently and I've seen greens turning out a greyish blonde after using pink on top of it, so why not In the worst scenario, she can add some red, purple or whatever color she wants and make her hair that color

If the yellow fades faster than the blue, you could do purple next. Just put red over the blue, instead of purple though, so that the blue already in your hair continues to fade

I think they will fade together to the ugly light teal everyone hates. You can't go to pink hair from teal, the yellow and blue preclude it, nor orange, but you can get back to blue. I've done that myself but it did take a while. First a darker (but not dark) blue, with red mixed into blue to neutralise the green, and having just enough blue pigment in order to not get muddy results. Purple is also possible with a purple dye that perhaps has a dab of extra red mixed in. Also, I think that anything dark and intense would cover the green, but may require adding more red in, especially if not faded much yet.

@egoichi oh no :( last week I went to a professional color analysis and omg this was so helpful. Can recommend this to everyone. I thought I was warm but nope cool toned :D so anyways maybe your green tone is too warm/cool for your skin? So could it be adjusted somehow? Maybe it you put blue (cool) or yellow (warm) over it? (I have no experience just an idea!!)

@egoichi I dunno, generally cool goes with cool so since blue is a cool color I'm not sure tbh. If you are neutral everything should look decent. Is your hair ashy naturally? That would indicate a cool tone

After the green fades, you can do bright red on top which will cancel all the green tones and then ultimately when the red starts fading to a yucky color you can do a bleach wash and possibly be right back to some sort of blonde light enough to then color over again! I’ve done this so many times with minimal damage color theory is AMAZINGG

To answer the question of what next is back to blue then purple then pink, red, orange and yellow. I don't like bleach at all and I use powder dye so I move through this spectrum and back all the time.

I've gotten around never bleaching my hair and still dyeing it almost every color possible in the past few years thanks to color theory! there were times that I'd look up ways to strip dye naturally so I could fade it enough to cover it but my hair never got damaged as a result and I hiiighly recommend to continue looking at color theories and maybe even preplanning your colors so you always have a "what's next, how do I cover this" option.

"Blue + Yellow = Green" doesn't take into account the pigmentation of each of the products she uses. If the yellow wasn't so pigmented, it would have washed out still blue or maybe sea green.

it’s normal that you lose some hairs, it’s the katagen and telogen phase of your hair growing. in that same follicle is growing another beautiful strand of hair;)) love the color as always!!

If it fades back to blue put some shade of cool pink on it! It’s will make it a lovely purple color :)

Looks very cool! If you want a new color without having to bleach it, you can always throw red on top and create a deep shade of purple!

You could try to replace the green bit by bit with yellow. Like...continue washing it, to get the green out, and putting yellow on top, to intensify. The blue part should keep washing out and being replaced by yellow, slowly turning the green more and more yellowish until it is a pure yellow. From there you can put pink or red over it to create orange. Slowly (or quickly) turn that to red, that to purple, until you are back at blue! Honestly, it would be so dope if you tried that! Completing the whole color wheel without using bleach once, just gradually fading and replacing the color. Maybe over the course of a few months to a year? And then do a time lapse if your changing hair hues!^^ Another option would be to deliberately turn your hair brown or medium to dark grey by using the opposite color (the complementary color, in this case red or pink) and then fade it by washing it out to a light silver or beige blond and start over. Of course, some parts of this might not work as planned, because some pigments/colors/formulas might cling to your hair more than others. But theoretically, with time and patience, this should work.

I love green on you so much!!!! You look amazing!!! Also as this fades, you should be able to put a light peachy pink over it to cancel enough of the teal and green tones leftover, so you can switch your color up after the green. Full red is usually too pigmented to use to cancel green. Diluting it some will keep you from getting a muddy ketchup color after. (Tips from a hairdresser.) I love your videos. Never stop experimenting. Hair and it's color is all about fun and freedom of expression. Do whatever makes you happy. 🥰

I did the exact same thing on my blue hair! But I made my own yellow hair dye by mixing a hair mask or conditioner with turmeric! You should try it if you wish some more yellow in your green 😃 Edit: you look so good in green!! 😍

This looks amazing! The colour it fades to will influence the colour you can go to next time. I've seen people easily go from green to orange. If it's blue though you can go purple 😊 it's much easier to follow the colour wheel.
