I've become addicted to American political news in particular, which is especially absurd, because I'm not American, and can't even vote to influence things there (though in all fairness, American politics do influence my country heavily). I'm coming around to thinking that the news is only hurting me, causing me unnecessary stress. It's not helping me to make a difference in the world, and it sure as heck isn't making my life any better. But I can't seem to stop. It's insane.

I use to say that God is my co-pilot because I drive for a living but now I say God "IS" the pilot and I know God keeps a close eye over me all the time. I lost my SSD monthly income because THEY claim they overpaid me but some how and only God can do this has kept me from falling behind on all my financial obligations. I still work part time but I get paid every week now instead of bi-weekly and this job has saved my life.
