There’s other scriptures against osas Romans 11:21,22 John 15:1-6 2nd Peter 2:20-22 John 8:31-32 Matthew 24:42( this scripture in Matthew tells us to be alert and there’s other scriptures that tell us to be alert or awake)

If you rightly divide like we are told to in Timothy you’ll see . The Bible has to be kept in context scriptures must be read in there proper context. Salvation has always been faith alone .. if you argue against osas you are completely dismissing eternal security . To say we can loose it is to say salvation isn’t eternal . I m come in peace 😊

Romans 3:20 KJV Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. The chapters prior to the chapter your reading is talking about keeping the law.. the law is given to us to convict us of our helplessness.

@@truthwatch2858 context is also about the scriptures before and after a verse even whole chapters before a verse . Keeping and reading the scripture in context is also keeping in mind who is being spoken to the Jew or gentile before or after the Lords death on the cross .. the Bible is written to us but it’s also descriptive and prescriptive but we have to discern what’s descriptive and prescriptive and we do that by looking who the audience is. Yes even things to Jews we can take that and applies God word to our life .. the book of psalms and proverbs is great to learn .. I’m not against applying the scripture in our life but when it comes to salvation we need to be sure what is for us and what isn’t for us ..the book of Roman’s is about us failing to keep the law it points to grace there is a complete balance . We can’t loose our salvation saying we can is saying we earn it . Even with co text if property divided you get grace .
