We can do Hajj or umrah on behalf of our parents after they expire , but on three conditions. 1. they must have done niyat for Hajj. 2. They must have done efforts to perform Hajj themselves but couldn't do for some reasons. 3. Intensions of performing Hajj or umrah when they were alive. Without these three conditions, performing Hajj or umrah on behalf of anyone doesn't count.

Allah swt has made it clear in the Qur'an that each person is responsible for his own deeds. No one else can be made accountable for what a person does, nor can a person himself take responsibility of some other persons deeds. Similarly, the Qur'an has also made it clear that on a day of judgement whatever a person will earn will be as a result of his own deeds. It is also a fact that it is not a form of a persons deeds which reaches the almighty and makes that person eligible for some reward; on the contrary, it is the piety of the heart which makes him eligible for a reward. This piety obviously is not something transferable. It resides in the heart of a person. For eg animal sacrifice is a great worship ritual. While sacrificing an animal we offer it to allah by placing it in the direction of Baytullah and by turning our own selves in its direction with the sentiment that it is infact we who are offering ourselves to God. The Qur'an states: The flesh and the blood of these sacrificed animals does not reach God, it is only your piety that reaches him (22:37) Same is the case with hajj and Umrah my brother

Assalamu Alaikum. I have done Hajj once when I was 14 years old(My menstruation period already started), my father financed this Hajj as I was a child. Now I am 38 years old, I earn for myself. My elder brother died without performing Hajj. As a sister I want to perform Hajj e Badal for my brother, is it permissible? Or do I need to repeat my Hajj once again. If I am permitted, do I need to take finance from my brother's property or I can use my money? Whichever is accepted in Islam, please guide me.

Firstly any dead relative who.has taken any loan his children should clear that Then comes Namaaz, zakaat, roza and then haj
