Check snap call on flop tells me he's already made his decision that he's going to call you based on your betting history of c-betting flops when in position. If you have a hand exactly like you do, his 88 is good and he can check call if the turn/river are safe. He may even lead the river if you check the turn behind and the river is clean.

You know, nobody ever seems to get coolered at these games. Holding JJ facing a four bet is never up against AA or KK. Small pocket pairs on a paired board never seem to randomly run into somebody flopping trips. The hand matchups always hti the most competitive parts of each player's respective ranges. Right?

You are definitely a way better poker player than me by far….but man you gotta try to slow down a bit with AK….I understand that it blocks others from having AA or KK but still at the end of the day it’s not even a pair…..I was hoping you would of out flopped YOO or even rivered him but with AK off or suited and you’re 4 or 5 bet shoving that’s gambling big profit away…. You was definitely running hot before that, but man you could of just called the raise and possibly lost the minimum….but again I suck at poker and you’re playing for thousands….just a thought though not trying to say it was a bad move….just give it some thought more when you have AK….
