I consider mindset to be the most important---you have to have the balanced concentration between fun and seriousness and of course,never take you eye off the ball. Best wishes ..

Just go in with the mindset that you need to ball out. People are watching, and with that, this could potentially lead you to partner up with someone who is better than you. We've all got something to prove and when I go out there for tournament play, I'm in it to show them that I belong there or even better. Confidence is key.

Good luck! A gold medal in a 4.0 tournament means you have to play at a near 4.5 level.

At 2:23 your arm is really extended when you’re in a dink battle. Is that intentional or should your arm be closer to your body to be ready to counter a speed up? I’m genuinely asking, not critiquing
@PickleballPursuit2 ай бұрын
It was definitely intentional. I was trying to keep "take balls out of the air" top of mind and that over exaggerated arm extended was basically my trigger. It would probably be better to be slightly closer to my body but I will naturally do that when I hit a high/dead dink that is attackable.

I’ve watched this video from start to finish and I got to say… you should just upgrade your paddle. #NWNM

Exactly … new paddle faster and less work. That said … Louis doing his full Rocky thing could be compelling video. I see (now can’t unsee it) short shorts doing stairs in our near future. The channel should be sponsored by a short shorts brand. Oh … what if Louis is fake trashing. Wow … next level.
