Can I prepare my own limited company accounts & tax return?

Hi Jason. I am a recently retired Senior Officer with HMRC. To help a friend I have prepared the annual accounts for his limited company. I have filed micro entity accounts with Companies House along with the confirmation. So, we are up to date with those obligations. I am now wanting to file the CT return but it appears a lot harder than I thought. Could you help with the filing of the return? The director has already made a payment which is more or less equal to the tax that appears due. This will be the last year as the company has ceased trading and he now trades as a sole trader.

I should imagine you might be getting a lot of business after the MSC legislation and latest HMRC court case. If I use Free Agent would you login to ree agent portal with my login to check thing's over and then just submit from that login, but declaring your company as the advising accountancy on the submission?
