The Cyclops card from MM92 Is my all-time favorite card. I was collecting Marvel Universe cards from the early 90s and then my friend’s brother showed me that card. That was the first painted artwork of a superhero I had ever seen. Blew my mind. Super cool to see this beloved set in a whole new way.

I am going to be biased here, but the fact they dont have deadpool, is beyond ridiculous. Was starlord and rocket in the original set? Seems crazy with the amount deadpool has done at the box office, they wouldn't include the merc with a mouth. No wonder topps is getting the license.

This set is a reprint of a beloved series from 1992. Characters that are popular today weren’t necessarily popular then. It’s not the point of this series to shoehorn in inserts of what’s cool now. To be fair, Joe Jusko did a sweet Deadpool that was in the 1993 Marvel Masterpieces series among other characters that were not in the 92 series. I would have loved to see this set be a tribute to all of Marvel Masterpiece work from the early 90s

@frmjewduhh To be fair, the 92 set wasn't the best set from the 90's. I lived it, and this set wasnt the banger that upper deck should have rode into oblivion on...

Deadpool debuted in Feb of 91 in an issue of New Mutants. The first solo Deadpool comic was in 1994. This set is a reprint from 92.

It’s a remanufactured money grab, love the artwork but I will always prefer the original set. These are the expensive and lame.
