I am enjoying this series. Its at a chill pace and you get to see the changing beautiful scenery. Mostly back roads that don't get seen on video that often. Plus the challenge and suspense of making it to your destination, charging with the Sun versus other sources, even waiting to see if the farmer comes by to chat with you for some reason is holding my attention. Love the battery on-screen indicating how much energy you have left. All good!! 🤟😊👍

listen to you own words, you don't need to find happiness in traveling as you have become used to it, you find happiness in staying still and being content with this. nature is everywhere including your home. travel is addictive and we have to be weary of our addictions.

*Happiness is the seed of unhappiness" (Buddhist quote). When you seek happiness from external events, that happiness will always be temporary. When you rely on external events for your happiness, your experience will always be a rollercoaster of emotions and you will always return to unhappiness. By learning to detach from desire, pleasure and comfort, you begin to reveal (reveal, not find. Because you have never lost it) the constant contentment from within. A contentment that is independent of external events. What makes this difficult, for the majority of people, is the letting go of the 'comfort blanket' that is desire, pleasure and comfort.

Louis, some advice your next adventure! I'm certain there are more thin, lightweight, and efficient solar panels than what you are using. The thinner and lighter they are, the greater number of panels you could bring. Potentially you could partner with a company making specialty solar panel company to show them off on your next adventure! You could even do a comparison video between the two sets of panels! They also have new batteries called Solidstate batteries. They are lighterweight for their capacity. Potentially you could partner with one of those companies as well! Solidstate batteries are very expensive, as are solar panels.
@DangerousDac

There are no commercially available solid state batteries yet, and those that claim to be have proven to be regular Lithium based technology.

Louis, some other great advice your next adventure too! If you can find a way to keep a solar panel or two attached to the moped or yourself and be charging a battery while driving, it will help a lot while you drive in daylight hours. For example, if there is a rugged panel, it can easily be located on the floor area. You can probably attached a small one on your back. Another one onto the pack. Even the solar panels you're storing on the sides have access to sunlight and could potentially charge a battery while driving.

A little bike trailer should work. You can fix a panel on top - and put your battery in it.

Talking about happiness. The odd thing is people who have all the things you mention always look for that magical moment, but people who have nothing wish they had the things so they could look for those moments. Happiness is a combination of things that takes you to a moment when you can forget all your troubles and enjoy just being alive, but regardless of your position in life those moments don't come often. That's why they are so special to the individual experiencing them. So all the trappings of life does help or we wouldn't bother building these things, it's getting to enjoy the experience of the things and life in general. Some people are poor but are happy when they get something a little special in their life, others are rich and never feel happy, but they may feel happy bringing happiness to others using their money to help others reach for their dreams. It's a personal thing happiness.

A solar trip would be possible on a lightweight solar pushbike/go-kart with a trailer covered in panels. Should be able to get infinite range as you’ll generate more than you’re consuming Could charge battery banks with the surplus solar as you go along allowing for several hours propulsion during dusk/darkness. The trailer could double up as storage too

Almost there! 👏 Those were some nice-looking Ionity stations (one of our favourite EV charging station providers) in the background next to that McDonalds - but fast chargers of course so not of use for the bike. So glad you could charge inside as well! But a shame they didn't have any plant-based options, we've found it differs per country so much in Europe. Great vlog and we're excited to see the finale!

… McDonald's fries are not vegetarian because they contain "natural beef flavoring" during production. This flavoring is added to the oil used to partially fry the potatoes, and it contains hydrolyzed wheat and milk. McDonald's says the flavoring gives their fries their signature taste

You're all done already obviously but I though charging is fastest up to 80% and after that it takes quite a bit of time to do the remaining. If that is the case with the NIU scooter then it might be better to schedule shorter rides and charge more often for shorter amounts of time.
