You want to keep the vac running the whole time until bubbles are out. Also what you really need is a pressure pot for resin.

I dont think my chamber would support much more than -1 bar pressure. It would crack. I have just bought a compressor recently. I save up for a pot too. And a paint gun. Soon.

Resin will set faster with deeper pours. The volume heats up causing the resin to cure. A pressure pot also works although you can't watch what's happening. The advantage to the pressure pot is we usually have a compressor already for cleaning and ridding items of shavings. With the vacuum chamber, you have to buy another piece of expensive equipment.
