ENDSIEG GERMANY IN WORLD WAR 2 IS FINALLY HERE!
It's been like 3 years of you guys asking Tommy to do Endsieg and the hardest challenge in HOI4, but today is finally going to be the day. Endsieg is a mod in Hearts of Iron 4 where you are put in a scenario of a failing Germany in the 1940s losing an all sides and the challenge is for you to save them in this impossible position. So it's going to be the Best HOI4 player versus all of the allies in the 1944 scenario of Endsieg. As mentioned in the video, it won't be the 1945 scenario because that one purely requires exploiting and cheating to be possible.

@@tenacity25 Germany just didn't have enough tanks in general in the later stages of the war. Also planes and other weapons, the US and USSR were just outproducing Germany massively and that's what mattered in the end. Even if they had enough tanks, they wouldn't have the crews and fuel and other things. Also the fact that they were constantly retreating meant they were losing tanks and heavy weaponry fast because it would be left on the battlefield, with no time and/or means to repair. The issue Germany had at that time was much bigger than just not having fuel, even though you have a point with fuel of course, the Germans didn't have enough of anything to win the war.

Hey TommyKay, creator of the mod here. A couple steps to help you here in 1944 (though you're doing good enough) are: With your PP just get good high command, ignore advisors and lower war exhaustion1. Buy all fuel you can from venezuela . USE FIELD MARSHALS AS GENERALS. They can take 90 units. 2. Make your medium tanks 40 width, 10 tanks 7 motorised and 3 mechanised. Move all your tanks, motorised and mechanised to 1 position, change them all to medium tanks and consolidate two units until you have around 14 tanks that should be fully equipped 40 widths 3. Do the same with your infantry, i would suggest 40 width pure infantry but if you're feeling bold you can put in some artillery, and then consolidate 2 units together on every tile. 4. Do the same in the courland pocket. Keep around 3 infantry on the rightmost tile, 6 infantry on the middle and the tanks and the rest of the infantry on the leftmost tile. Put CAS on this airzone (the soviets dont put air over it), and wait for an opportune moment where they leave the port open (it will happen, trust me). If they leave it open but move into it from another tile, attack it. 4.1 keep 4 units in norway on the soviet border. Consolidate, delete the rest. AI generally doesnt invade Norway. 5. Request all your puppets units, and put them on defence in austria (just follow the river, make sure you include vienna for the factories). 6. Put the units on the eastern front on a field marshal general (so you have 90 divisions under a general), and put them oon a fallback line following the river EAST off berlin, until it reaches the lowest tile of neumark, then make the line go over the czechoslovakia forts. The western front you're going to keep the same, just put the units on a frontline (but ignore the maginot tile that is taken). 7. Once you have your tanks consolidated and together, move them to Brabant. Make sure you get full planning prep (use the ability), along with a general that has the ability to get bridge crossing and rommel as a field marshal. 8. Put air over it and wait till you get green air (use both cas and fighters). 9. Micro your tanks, first encircle dunkirk (2 electrical boogaloo), then head for paris. After you encircle some more in normandy, they shouldnt have enough troops anymore and you can snake.

I had the Soviets naval invade me with 24 divisions in north Germany and they naval invaded Norway too. I still managed to beat it because I had already killed France by this point but yeah, later on they do massive naval invasions.

@@edp-xo1on, the goal of the mod is to win an impossible war. The soviets did have overwhelming numbers of troops. And it is still possible to win, just very hard.

@11hunter22 Not necessarily. The Soviets begin to run out of equipment in July 1945, if you can hold out until then you're good. Also including maintenance battalions in your infantry is super useful. Especially on the Western Front where the allies constantly attack you across the rhine where you will almost never break. You can steal so much equipment which then helps the Eastern front too.

you need to consolidate your divisions to make sure ur at full strength so you dont get reinforced memed because you have unequipped divisions, even if you dont get reinforce memed you still lack the stats to fight back when you have no rations, you have the right idea to do no air whatsoever but you still keep way too many divisions, that guide where he got the port in courland was definitely an older version but you could aggresively battleplan to buy time for the port to be built, making sure its the furthest tile back so it cant be attacked. anyways, you tried your best and thats all that matters

All you have to do to save most of the divisions in Courland is last stand a single division on the tiles about to break. A few of those divisions will get destroyed in that defense but its all worth it to bring most of them back.

Hold the Courland pocket for 3 weeks build a lvl one port and you can get most of them out, danish belts control keeps the baltic relatively "safe" for transport, then use them to reinforce the east or delete them for the 100% equipment instead of the 20%

If you want another challenge kinda like this, maybe try ROC in CWIC 1949. They have a pretty sizable army, but they have the single worst debuff in the entire game, and the PRC has the biggest buff in the entire game, so it's pretty challenging, especially when you take into account you have 0 supply.

idk man I haven't played hoi4 in a while but I remember I did this scenario in 1944, I couldn't beat 1945 either but rushing down France with a couple of fully equipped I think 26w divisions did wonders. Had some medium tank divisions and SPA. Getting France is the hard part, after that you'll have some more equipment and room to work with against Russia

The more I read these disclaimers, the less I think they are made for the community and more for an overbearing surveillance apparatus, punishing everyone vaguely involved with anything from actual fringe right political content to center right positions or even things as mundane as edgy humor.

i think my strategy here is to have 2 defensive lines and have a rearguard most of the army retreat to the first line of defense that has bunkers while the second/last line is getting built with bunkers while the rearguard is left there to die but delay the russians For south of the front in italy retreat river by river and yugo slavia retreat and hold zagreb and retreat to a river linking up with your italian army I dunno what to do with the rest

Big brain mode: Let the Western allies take teritorry in a noodle line in the south and redirect them to block the USSR. It should work until the give each other military access
