Honestly I kind of liked the look you had at first, and after you restarted it I wasn't liking how it was looking, I thought, "Is this really gonna turn out okay?" but the final result did the talking. I also really liked the lighting scenario in this piece. Honestly I wish I was better at being able to fix my disaster drawings but usually I don't realize I hate the sketch till I'm already rendering it and I just don't want to bother trying to finesse it and scrap the whole piece. Btw if your hand was getting sore from using a screwdriver maybe you could try doing some wrist exercises with dumbbells, it may help you be more comfortable with long drawing sessions as well.

I really like how the peice turned out! I think one of tbe biggest things that shows what a great artist a person is is the ability to not give up and to push through and finish a peice even if they don't like it, which is exactly what you've done. Found this video right after I was thinking of scrapping something I was working on haha It's really nice, I'm glad you kept trying with it! I gotta say, though, I liked the sketchiness of the eyebrows before you erased them. They looked more realistic since they're made up of hairs so I don't think they'd have such a clean reflection of the waves. Thanks for showing your process, going to check out more of your stuff!

Thank you! Hm, there are many ways that you can push yourself. You can try drawing things you don't usually draw, or you can try new shading techniques, you can also try different mediums or even different styles. ^u^
