Giving vague weird answers that just makes someone suspicious of them. Never there and saying, "I'm here to see if you'll react to me videoing in public". It’s too bad that most cops aren’t nearly as skilled at listening as they are at talking. As usual they have literally no interest in anything we have to say unless we are answering their questions, questions which are intended to implicate us in one or more crimes. This female cop was disrespectful and unprofessional. She needs to work on her ego and her poor communication skills. But that will never happen because any issue with a citizen is always presumed by the police to be the fault of the citizen. Just listen to this other cop accusing you of “playing games”. To them a citizen asserting their Constitutional rights and pushing back against unethical or illegal behavior by cops is the fault of the citizen. And we’re supposed to believe that police will discipline their own when they screw up? Sure. Right.

I'm retired, and for the past 5 years me and the old woman have been dragging our old trailer around the United States behind the pickup truck seen every giant ball of string and two story out house in the country. The trailer the truck and both me and the old woman are all licensed in Washington State. We've been to 48 states. And never had any problem with having an out-of-state license while traveling through a state. Now if we stay 90 days in a state, then we become residents and have to get the proper state ID. And there are some states I wouldn't spend 9 hours in. Because the police officers like to Target out of state travelers. Arkansas comes to mind, and heaven forbid you drive in Florida with Washington State plates.
@sixtoseven75633 жыл бұрын
Good point about the 90 days resident. He has a Mexican drivers license which is valid and sufficient to drive in Texas as long as he is a resident of Mexico. If he is in fact a resident of Texas and that license is expired perhaps not. The original cause of the stop seems frivolous and I see this often on the internet. Here in PA speeding, running a light or stop sign, drunk driving gets you lit up but not wide turns, light out ... When my wife and I were young we met a couple in Reno travelling the country in a small rv who had such great stories and pictures. Love what you're doing and all the best.

@@sixtoseven7563 if he moves to Texas with Mexican DL he has a year to become a resident. Then 90 days after that to get Texas DL. They'd have to prove he was living in Texas for past 15+ months for no DL ticket to be valid. Only way they could really get him on that is if he admitted to it. I split my time for awhile living between CA and IL. I got pulled over once and cop was like oh why you got IL DL with CA plates? You should have CA DL. I told him I live in both states and if I changed my DL to CA I'd run into same issue when back in IL. Its not like I'll change my DL half dozen times a year every time I travel. He would't give up asking so which state do you usually spend more than 6 months a year. I answer about same. Then he is like well which state did you spend more time in this year. I am about even between both nodding my head. We went back and forth for awhile till he finally realized I am not gonna take his rope.

Besides, that's not the type of question she needs to ask without a RAS, e.g. someone reported the driver waved a gun at them. As for weapons, anything you can lift can be a weapon -- is a crowbar a tool or a weapon? That depends on how you use it. The same for a baseball bat, or a thousand other everyday items. No, the cop wasn't correct. She wen way beyond her authority for no good reason.
@JASPERKNOWSNOTHING3 жыл бұрын
@@krane15 WOW. Asking if there are any weapons in the vehicle is a perfectly acceptable question. It’s for the safety of everybody involved. It prevents the cop from being hurt and it prevents him from being mistakenly hurt. In Texas, the police officer must be told immediately that there's a gun in the vehicle if the owner has a Texas License to Carry. ... Texas doesn't restrict an individual from carrying a shotgun or rifle in a vehicle but it's recommended that the gun owner inform the officer for safety reasons. The driver decided to act unusual by pretending that his license was in the back when in reality it wasn’t. The driver turned the situation into what it was. If a person is digging around in the backseat, it’s perfectly acceptable to ask if he has weapons. Then he wanted to play games, acting like he wasn’t going to tell her what kind of weapon. He was purposely being this way to get his livestream views and to please his simple followers. He was driving on an expired Texas license. I don’t know if he is an American or Mexican. He provided a Mexican ID. Which would only be valid for up to a year in the United States. He refused to say how long he was there or where he was going. If he isn’t American then he needs to carry his immigration papers and passport on him at all times while in the United States. Without these documents he can be fined and jailed for 30 days. Simply put, you don’t know what you are talking about. I’m a former military police officer, former federal corrections officer, and now a disabled veteran. Also, married to a Mexican who’s parents originally came to America illegally. I have some knowledge and experience with this topic.

Notice the sergeants demeanor from the get go . He's playing a psychological game while at the same time putting things into the recorded record that verifies and backs up the tyrant cops complete lack of knowledge of the law. Trying to put all the fault for the bad attitude, aggression and 12 other cops showing up on the driver. Our system is structurally corrupt.

At 9:56 the male officer says he didn't see the "expired license". A few moments later, he sees that it isn't expired. He knows she (female cop) is wrong but let her write the ticket anyway. I don't think he would have done the same because you can see the way he yanks the license from her he's upset with her bull but at least everything is on record so he doesn't personally need to deal with her. She will get what's coming!

Imagine this: If you are not allowed to drive in any state other than where your Driver's license was issued, Law Enforcement could pull over every vehicle with an out of state license plate, and if that person did not have a license for the state they are currently driving in, issue a ticket. That act alone would mean millions of dollars of revenue generated for every state. 🤣
