Can I solve the Blanker Cube? (with no help)

The Blanker Cube is a very strange 3x3 puzzle, some of the pieces are stuck together while some are not, the puzzle is then able to transform into all kinds of weird shapes. From what I can see there isn't really a good solution to it, it is just a case of playing around with it until F2L is solved and then spamming almost random last layer algorithms on it but there probably is a slightly more sophisticated method to it.

there is a good solution to it when you know its just a 2x2. FL is really easy to do when you spot the big cube and the last layer algorithm is just 2x2 algs with a small case of parity
