I once stayed awake for 135 hours when I was abusing amphetamines. I think I nearly died. I kept hallucinating that my skin was boiling and black like tar. And then I saw people in my house but there was nobody there really, but it looked totally real at the time, I have still not fully recovered from it all, as now I don't like socialising anymore, I cannot trust what I see anymore as being real.

I’ve never gone to this extreme, but I remember a couple of occasions where I’ve approached 48 hours of no sleep, and can relate to the experiences and symptoms you described. Your mind does start to run wild and you kind of lose control over it (hence the anxiety/paranoia). That’s what induces a lot of the physical symptoms I believe. The sleep after is quite something though! Thanks for the video.

I used to skip a night of sleep once almost every week when i was in my early 20s. 30-40hrs of no sleep wasnt too hard for me, but I never forced myself to do 2 nights in a row. Seeing this makes me know at least I wont die lol but also big props to you my man. Your recording of whats been going on made me laugh a ton; the bond comments and your snacks/tea comments. I started talking to the radio after 3 days without sleep, it’s insane what lack of sleep can do. I was tanked up on Ritalin though so that made it easier.
