I went into this expecting to feel a bit out of sorts for a while. I think it's a waiting game while your brain recalibrates. I'm working on my diet and getting some regular exercise everyday now that my energy levels have become more predictable. For those that are struggling, keep going! You owe it to yourself. It won't be like this forever. ❤️

Yes it will for those who have chemical imbalances. Sobriety is nothing but sacrifice. There is no actual reward in it

@@Samuel-tc7nf I've found plenty of reward in it. Sorry you're struggling.

And "This to shall pass." My mother's enforcement to get me through a bad day, a tragic moment. God knows she experienced so many.

I totally get wanting to leave Cleveland. At the same time, it’ll always be where I grew up. I’m proud of that! lol 😆 As strange as that sounds. And you are absolutely right, accomplishments no matter how small, are a rush. Like being sober for a day or 49 days! 🎉 hey! CVS had liquid IV on sale 😎 thanks for the tip friend ❤

Been eating that way for 3 years(low carb, intermittent fasting). Physically feel great, but mentally....a struggle every day.

What's the correlation for the mental struggle?
@T.K.1113 жыл бұрын
@@GettingSoberAgain To stay mentally stimulated. I had a friend in MENSA, you remind me of him. When I met him he partied hard. Observing the people around him, including me, I asked him as intelligent as he was, why did he drink so much. He said it was lonely not to be able to connect mentally with most people. That spoke volumes to me. I think you have a very high IQ....you mentally stimulate me. Did that come out wrong?
